You could make Christmas card photos from that view of the lake. I can imagine you spending Christmas there with a fire pit on the go drinking hot gluhwein with family and friends. That cabin must be a keeper.

Great video.. if i may from an old contractor.. you're making hay right now working crazy hours, trying to be a success.. you gave me a flashback.. when you said, "not now Ashley"..and. "i can just imagine being in there with the wood stove".. I cant tell you how many times i had done that through the years..My point, just as soon as you can, delegate to those employees you trust, pay them well.. the money you think comes from your profit actually gives you freedom. Freedom equals success equals family time, personal time. We only go round once.and if i could change anything in my life it would be that..I Lost my wife to leukemia .. id give anything to get that time back. I have all this success and we cant share it. Just drove to near Halifax from Quebec. I passed a lot of cell towers and through your great videos learned there is a lot of work to maintain them. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

From what I've learned about POV filming, the camera needs to be mounted to the point where it almost blocks your view forward. Which isn't something I feel comfortable doing while driving, hence the dash cam, or helmet cam that I use most of the time. Your POV wasn't too bad. I think the size of the trucks windshield helped. I'd say keep the video up because it wasn't bad. You should have seen my POV fail in my Elantra a couple months ago...I had some "great" shots of the sun visor and hood lol.

Oh man, if I got back there I wouldn't want to leave. That is such a fantastic setting and a beautiful house. So secluded and peaceful. The only drawback is the drive back to the house, but with your equipment it's no problem. Keep the cottage videos coming, that's what hooked me on subbing.
The video is a lovely ride through the forest and abundant hemlocks. The property is gorgeous because of the forested setting. Hemlocks do not scratch vehicles. 🤗 Bauer is a nice name any son would be proud to have. Good Luck

I think POV is the best. Once you perfect it with a little practice it will be the way to go for sure. I really wanted to see the road coming out of your cabin after you plowed it. I'm looking out at a very snowy courtyard where I am in the Idaho Panhandle not too far from the border. Not quite as much snow as you had, but enough to complain about when shoveling the sidewalks. I just found your channel today. I love the videos! This one was great for the experience of plowing and not having to ride in the truck. 😆 I would like to have had a ride in the excavator as well! Love the cottage and land as well as the lake! That is like something my dad or husband would have built! All the flowerbeds! All the walkways! All the storage sheds and the records kept on the generator! My dad kept those kinds of records. This place is great! Only one problem, I live in the mountains of southwest Virginia. That property is a little far to travel. 🤣 Great video! Looking forward to watching more!
No negative comments from the UK 🇬🇧. I only saw snow that deep here once when I followed a snow plough through country roads to get 34 miles into work - even then it was hard and slow going. 20 miles into the journey the snow plough pulled into a petrol station and the driver advised me to go back home before the next snow storm hit………that 40 mile round trip took me 3.5 hours in my little car and was terrifying 😱 so hats off to you!

It’s a beautiful view from the back porch of the house and the drive in was so picturesque. POV angle was fine as it allowed as voyeurs to see further through the trees.
Great video! The road to the cottage seems to take forever. You have lots of limbs to cut. Just imagine sitting looking out the big window at the beautiful lake.
Footage was just perfect, leave it up man. Picture perfect view looking out to the water. With all that snow I take it you won't be taking a stroll on that long wooden deck above the water lol, this place is just beautiful.
There is an important question I must ask! Are you going to maintain all the bird feeders?? I hate to think of all the birds that died after they left. Especially the hummers 😢😢 I wish you and your family all the luck, love and happiness you can handle. ☺ I absolutely love that property. The serenity of the boardwalks is simply God sent. A complete video of all the walkways would be amazing to see. To invent some glasses or helmet visor like a fighter pilot that either eye controls the plow blade. Two way heads up display. Great videos. Beautiful secluded cabin. You found a one of a kind.

I haven’t mounted one plow yet, not on a tractor or truck cause I doubt we’re getting snow this year. I have a malamute in my kitchen looking depressed cause the last 3 days have been 70 degrees. Good to see someone is getting some!
Definitely have to trim the lower branches of those trees along the driveway. The weight of the snow makes it real easy to figure out which are the problem ones. Don't want those around when the power lines go in; too much of a hassle. P.S. Love how you used the excavator as a road block. Great way to deter "problems".
