Genghis Khan also. I once read that it is estimated he killed about 40 Million people back in his time which was about 10% of world population. WW2 "only" killed about 4% of world population over its course and thats everything included, not just Hitlers destruction. So in relative (and probably also absolute) terms Genghis Khan was worse than Hitler. Crazy to think that the passing of time and lack of historical sources made him and his actions kinda forgotten and feel more like a legend.

As a person with food allergies, I never told people I couldn’t eat something because I didn’t want to sound like this so I just didn’t eat anything
You should not feel bad about having allergies, it isn't your fault. I usually ask, but if I forget to I'm always very grateful when my guests tell me their allergies
The best choice is to say you have allergies before the cooking part. Like some days prior, and everyone will be happy
