Always a preference but why didn’t you paint the bay when the engine was out?

Good question, I am actually pulling the engine back out to paint the bay in a few weeks. I decided to put the engine in before paint so I could get everything 100% dialed in such as wiring, brake lines, etc so I know what holes need to be welded shut in the bay. One example is I have to cut holes for my tucked AC setup still and I just didn't want to be drilling holes, bending brake lines, etc in a freshly painted bay.
