Pioneer SA-508 Stereo Amplifier brought back to life after 40 years

In this video we bring back to life a classic Pioneer SA-508 Stereo Integrated Amplifier from 1979/1980
The amp required all three internal fuses replaced, both the 3.15A and a single 1.25A fuse at the top. There is a blank fuse bay next to this, leave this unfused.

It's great to see this old beauty brought back to life, nice job! I have a beautiful old Pioneer system that made its way to me from my grandparents when they passed away, it has the SA-508. I used to spend so much time as a very young child sitting in front of it fascinated by those meters bouncing up and down and the huge warm sound the amp produced, 40 years later I still sit in front of that very same amp with exactly the same fascination. :)
