  • A rock now blocks the old shortcut I used to use all the time on Adamance.
Luckily there is a tree that make the shortcut still usable. It will take some time to learn the jump because there isn't a lot of room for error.
The jump from the tree can be made with 24lbs of inventory, but I don't recommend being that heavy because the jump becomes near pixel perfect.
    ---------
I assume the tree will be moved or deleted later.

Great, I can finally avoid the ambush of all the monster of the game once I get out of the emergency exit... Until it gets fixed at least.

I recently learned the jump to get up to fire, but was annoyed that the rocks removed the old way to get back to the ship to complete the loop. This was really helpful, and I do wish jumps such as these are kept in instead of being viewed as needing "fixing". One thing I did notice is that you can actually walk up this tree instead of jumping, which for those of us who are less graceful, might come in a pinch (you can also do a weird combination of both). I can't seem to find the exact spot on the tree where you can run then jump but found it fairly consistent to just get to the highest point on the tree while still being able to see the spot where you want to land, jump then run. Not sure if this has an impact on the carry limit, but you can always just drop loot on the slope. Thanks for sharing!

Completely agree with you on it being annoying that these jumps are viewed as needing to be "fixed." I understand stuff like the apparatus glitch/anything OoB's being kind of against the main philosophy of the game as Zeekerss has said himself, but jumps like the Offense Rock -> Fire Exit and other jumps do take a bit of skill and knowledge. They aren't just randomly overpowered either. Kind of frustrating, as well as the whole incline/decline mechanics. I've stated before that you would think "okay well even though I'm slower going uphill at least i'm faster going downhill"... But the amount of time spent going uphill seems drastically higher than the time spent going downhill
