Notes: The jumping strat (for large bridge) doesn’t work anymore, just sprint! Reguardless still only use the bridge to get to main with 0lb and it should be up for a while! Additionally you can have up to 16lb and cross without it breaking! You can make the broken fire bridge jump with up to about 50 lbs.
you can have up to 20lbs for large bridge if your stamina bar is completely full. 21lbs will break the bridge! The small bride breaks after 5 or 6 times anybody jumped on it (it's not 5 or 6 it's that I can't remember if it's 5 or 6)
That first path from main is amazing, and I just have one correction. You don't actually need to hug the wall from where the bridge is (or used to be), you can easily access the path from the bottom of the pit. Right next to the cabin is a little slope that you can walk and jump up, it doesn't even require running. Makes it a great escape route if you ever find yourself in the pit, maybe after a bridge collapse or something. Great vid as always!
The point was to avoid going into the pit where most monster pathing nodes are. That’s why I said there’s many ways but I’m showing only the best/safest. But this is definitely a good strat!
I think most people found that path in beta testing, I have seen a video of it too. I found it when I was trying to get out of main with broken bridge and the bottom filled with giants

On the area shown near 1:12 , you can run and jump up the slope between the bridge and the tree so that you don't have to run all the way around. Definitely helped me with packs of baboon hawks. Wonderful guide!!
If youre not too heave, you can actually get loot to the other side of the small bridge once broken. I havent tested out the exact weight, but ~60 works for me
@@sdfggdfg5fgdfg it used to be that while you were not making contact with the bridge by jumping it would heal its "hp" and break much slower but it was taken out of the game a few months ago but i dont know which update in specific removed it
@@sdfggdfg5fgdfgthe jump trick is something from a previous version where you would only subtract bridge stamina while touching it, not sure if bread just never realized that got patched or what
i did something testing and you can cross weak bridge without breaking with up to 14 lbs if you start running right when you step on bridge. Also you can cross it with one item up to 33lbs if you drop it and pick up and run backwards (i tried it with chemical jug, worked just fine)
Extra point I found out about the path back from main he shows at 4:20 (lol): Giants can in fact climb all the way up to you along that path even if you’re not all the way in the ditch. Idk about other enemies like dogs but if giants can I would be careful.

One thing to add is when coming back to ship trough the "traditional way"just before passing next to the bridge close to the ship, you can sprint at a spot on the slope and jump 2x to get on top, close to ship. It's pretty minimal since at that point you're already very close to ship but nonetheless, it saves a bit of time. Also do you plan on doing an artifice guide ? I really hope so since it's really fun to play with friends, we've heard it's good to play with jetpacks so we had fun with it, can't wait for your optimisations. Don't mess with exams tho
You can still transfer loot back from fire with the broken bridge, and the weight you can take with you is more than you might think. Run and jump twice without stopping. It's difficult to do and even more difficult if you dont have light, but with some practice it's very much possible
There is a nifty way to lose giants if you loop the shed in the middle of the map. Giants can't pass around one of its corners so losing them there is super easy. (Or you can just use a key and go inside but who randomly carries keys lol)
Having stupid teammates is a real disgrace. I was the last one to return to the ship and when I arrived the entire ship was empty, the idiots let the Babbon Hawks enter the ship, eat their ass and steal all the loot.
@@PunMister you can presumably still use ladders diagonally against the walls to get over to main the direct way, can't you? also who are "they"? I'm replying to a single person here..

As for what they were saying, they were talking about placing a ladder on both sides of the fire exit bridge to emulate a bridge, but that it's not possible (at least by stacking) with the main bridge. Using the walls is an interesting idea, not sure if that's very practical though haha. But I'd like to hear your results if you test it
Wish there were more valid paths to ship that didn’t rely on map geometry exploits. Walking up a tree? Really? For the scrap value (and the power indoor/outdoor) it’s really too much of a headache when better options exist

@@aarepelaa1142 yea there’s 2 really good short cuts to use. Loot is way better than March. Currently the top 3 in order are Ada, vow, assurance (for free moons)
@call_me_bread the jumping on the bridge strat doesn't work anymore, zeekers fixed that. There's still alternative version to this strat, which works, where you have to walk on railing and constantly jump. It's a bit risky, but it's an alternative.

1 pro flashlight + 1 shovel = 19lbs, full sprinting, you still reach the other side but the big bridge will collapse. I find it in the hard way.

Nice guide! I checked myself, it seems that the bridge can hold about 18 pounds at full stamina + sprinting over it.

sprint jumping doesnt make the bridge break any slower than just sprinting normally sadly, it was removed a while ago
didn't test this but that's what I think. Not sure why you would jump, you can always make it across with 0weight on a full sprintbar by just running

On the normal path from main to ship, there’s a small piece of land that you can jump onto before the last U-turn to ship and before the bridge

Can you place multiple ladders on top of each other to substitute the main bridge?
you can put two ladders on both sides of the fireexit bridge to make a quick twoway bridge. you cant "stack" ladders to emulate the main bridge
