I haven't picked up your tab book yet, but I just want to say thank you for making it spiral bound. It's nice to have when you're working through a piece of music and the book isn't constantly wanting to close back up forcing you to grab a tuner or metronome to hold the pages down, especially on a music stand that has limited space.

What im always curious of is where did you get your knowledge from and what your inspiration is? Thats what interests me infinitely more than learning the how.
Malcolm - When someone is learning how to do speed or sweep picking, what is the best way to build up speed if you hit a wall? I have tried playing to a metronome but get "topped out" 20+ bpm short even if I practice for weeks. Is there ever merit to just trying to play fast without a metronome and cleaning up the technique later? How do you build speed if you hit a wall? I bought the tab books but can't play fast enough 😂

99% of the time I use a 1.14 Tortex Jazz III pick. I may have used a .88 Green Tortext in this one though. I blame Dave Otero for that! haha
