@@chifromano4088I think Inferi has more complex riffage but archspire’s solos are harder. Overall I’d say Inferi is the more difficult one to play due to stamina
Let’s be honest .. in modern metal, malcom is close to the top of technical.. and the fact he is so chill and relaxed about it while he is playing is nothing short of amazing
There is no level 1 in Inferi. It starts at like 5 at least! So much love for Inferi and you guys!
Been a fan of Malcolm since his days playing in Diskreet. Dude has always been on whoooole other level, not to mention what he and his people have been doing with Artisan Era is extremely important to the underground, extreme metal scene.
Engage the Mechanality is an underrated classic.
Inferi is BY FAR one of the most impressive bands I’ve ever seen live. I was instantly a fan. They are all top notch musicians, it was almost surreal seeing a band cohesively play at that level! On top of that, they were all incredibly humble and nice people.

When people ask me to describe Inferí, I just say “it’s like The Black Dahlia Murder but with no chill”. Sick riffs!
I describe TBDM to people AS "the band with no chill". This is reaching multiple of layers of negative chillness!

Glad to see they struggle on riff 3. Destroyer was the first song I learned (still got like 30s left before im done), starting a year ago and that riff still F's me up. I was not even remotely ready for that song when I started but the amount I learned was insane.

This is great in so many ways. Dean and Claire, you two are highly talented and make interesting videos by doing things like this. And Inferi is the best music like ever written, so seeing an actual pro guitarist and his wife who is also very good on guitar struggle with some of Inferi’s hardest riffs just confirmed for me how good the music really is.. also the line at the end “ do not fear the girthy book” 🤣

Man, this album was the one that made me start playing guitar, i probably listened to this album a milion times which if u time it by 1 milion times is about the number, really cool stuff, but i did evolutionise into old school brutal death later on, mad respect and motivational, i guess ill take on this challenge and try to learn the whole album without the solos, coz this is a nice little nostalgia that i got, thank you :)
