Thanks, Yesterday I find Truma boiler to my 1989 Mitsubishi L300 Frankie. It was surprised cause the seller did not know that too, So I start t to look every paper of Frankie. I find Carantie -Karte, but I thiking its not validy2021 This truma Boiler is only Electic use 230v cause last owner did not use Trumatic air heater never.I take it off for the repairing .. I did not see connection beetween Truma boiler and Trumatic, But when I saw your video I understand the reasons Thereis two gas lines for the boiler and to air-heater.and two controls upper on to boiler and other to Trumatic heater . So Thanks for this important video. You Save time, my, yours everybody cause we all have it in limited Time.
You are very welcome. Im Glad it helped. Cheers

Should be a cover over outside vent to stop debris getting in
ps great video
Yes the cover is missing. You are correct.
I feel your pain man, I’m just about to tear into my Truma boiler as well. I am impressed with the result, and hope my issue is as simple. Or not! I don’t hear any spark ignition but I have power to the board.?
Good luck mate. Let us know how it went. Cheers
Excellent video. Isn't it really satisfying to repair stuff....and cheaper? I also have an older campervan of 24 years and I'm always doing repairs and upgrades. I have done this exact job and also found lots of stuff inside. Mine was quite corroded as it's quite wet here in Scotland often so I sprayed it with high temperature paint. I have also replaced the igniter. Does yours not have 240v element too? Regards Grant
Thanks. No this model does not have 240v ac, it would be cool thow. Cheers
Wow thanks for the video, this gave me confidence to open up my Truma Ultrastore. I hear ignition but then the red light comes on, gas connected ok, tried blowing with air inside, no help. I will open up to see if it lights up. Hope not the PCB. Expensive crap
Good luck mate. Hope you figure it out. Cheers
@@reversingentropy Turns out that the flame came on but then turned off. No visible obstruction. In the end it was some sort of reverse polarity in my campervan wiring that triggered the boiler PCB to shut off... Once i removed the culprit, the boiler now starts and doesnt shut off!
Nice to know. These pcbs are ver5 resilient, the were built before planed obsolescence 💪
@@reversingentropy Yeah i didnt fancy buying a new one for £150 or so... so happy to know everything works ok and I cleaned a dead spider and a moth from the inside at least :D
If you ever get problems with electronics - call me. I am fixing B10 1st and 2nd generation. 3rd gen didn't get yet but logic is the same.
