In the future nations like the US, Japan, China or even India will dominate this sport.
I've never expected this as an European kid back then ... times are changing!

Japan is already one of the bigger nations, India and China will never dominate football, there hasnt even been any player in the top 5 leagues from there and the US has 0 Chance of ever becoming top 10 because it doesnt have the culture

They will never dominate this sport, because they won’t have people who play it every day.

@@kaan4040 US soccer culture is rapidly rising. We now have millions of 3rd/4th generation kids playing the sport. Soccer is now on in just about every sports bar in America and is the 3rd most googled sport in America behind Football and Basketball. It is the 3rd most popular sport for the 18-29 age demographic. MLS is the 7th most attended soccer league in the world averaging 21,000 per match. Soccer is in a substantially better place in 2024 than it was pre NASL when the sport was literally a ghost sport. The NASL helped create the first major interest in the sport fan wise in the 1970's that has continued to today where we got players all over the best leagues in the world and even some playing for some of the best clubs in the world. .

First and foremost The World Name, for The World Game is FOOTBALL ... our world governing body F.I.F.A. means Federation International FOOTBALL Association. The growth of World FOOTBALL across North America has five influences 1, the internet 2 T.V. 3 migration of Central/South Americans Asians and Europeans 4 an established World Football League within America 5 The F.I.F.A. World Cup Finals being staged across North America ... Its Great to see The World Game of FOOTBALL growing establishing itself in North America!.

I don't want Football to grow in the United States. If that happens, the United States will begin to spoil it and the sport will not be the same as before, it will die. Football doesn't need the United States and neither do they.

I think exactly the same thing as you. It will be a disaster if USA enters in the game. Actually we are already seeing the change in the rules, trying to increase the number of goals, number of substitutions, etc.
