Had to finish up watching a little after the premiere…. Such a rad build!!!
Thanks Jacob! Glad you could join for a bit!
Wow! I wish I had discovered this channel a month earlier! It would have saved me a lot of time! Had a lot of similar issues with my MB24 build, and just appreciate the solutions you've come up with for the details on getting the kit together. Thanks for sharing!
Appreciate that a lot! Great little kit in the end isn’t it!?
Nice as usual
@@dantrivett8435 thanks Dan!
So sick as always Brian. That was the best hour of rc I’ve spent in a while.
Appreciate that Zach!
Huge thanks for the shoutout/tag!!!!
For sure brother!
This looks Awesome Brother!!! I have a White MB24 Chasis kit coming soon. I gotta get some mofo trailing links and those axels......I can't wait to get started...
Appreciate ya! Thanks for coming out to the Premiere!
@@bcochener Your Welcome Brother
Seriously expected that Nano Beast to just disappear in a flash, or open a worm hole! LOL! Wow!
Haha, yeah that thing was purring!
@@bcochener Just re-watching this MB24 vid as I've got one on the way with some ISO axles as well. Certainly would be as fancy a build though! :) Glad to see you got the motor/trans in without mod'ing. Seen a couple guys had to do some grinding out on the underside of the interior cockpit for fitting Venom brushless kits in. Looked like the wire bundle coming off the motor was the reason as it can't be clocked out of the way. I'm gonna use the Injora brushed I have, for now. Any thoughts on the motors (Furitek) that have that rather big motor wire bundle protruding and it it can be bent flatter or even un-soldered and attached differently to make it less bulky? Or any other trick you've found works?
Thanks again!
Bert the Weldor
Awesome video, super in depth and helpful to someone new like myself! At the end you said you didn’t know all those channels from the stickers, capecrawlers is super helpful to!
I appreciate that. Glad it was helpful!
Wow looking super cool
Thanks Andy. Yeah this thing is sweeet!
Holy hell. An I thought I was bad, I'm still attempting to build my mb24 it's literally like the actual truck. Sponsors an all custom made. Wheels mofo upws etc. Just haven't opened the newer jlu yet to swap it
😂 Yeah, same here. Had to mimic the real F-H as much as possible. Good luck with your build, hope this helps! Cheers!
@@bcochener it gave me alittle boost to get to it that's for sure, maybe I'll post it on here
Party time
Looking forward to it!!
SMASH the 👍 everyone
Lol cheers ! I forgot 😂
Must be nice to have your money.
Holy cow man.
I could always use more. But couldn’t we all… lol
Oh man killer build! Any idea when the jazz boat sides will be available?
Not sure if he is going to produce them or not. he mentioned letting WTMicro offer them as an option when ordering the body. Not sure though.
So awesome! Mofo just dropped a direct power servo, do you have any experience with it?
Thanks! No I have not tried that one yet. I may direct power a servo on an upcoming build. Just wire one up that way. It’s a good option for anyone running stock 2 in 1 electronics. I was thinking on like a stock V2 ESC setup.
Oh to be a single man... 😂
😂 well, there are pluses and minuses…
I know where you got the rear trailing arms from but where did you get the rest of the front and rear Links at???
They are Injora stainless steel links. Deadbolt rear uppers from a set I had leftover, and a JLU/C10 front links set.
@@bcochener Thank You so much for the info Brother. Your video is very informative and well done. I will be starting a Build with the MB24 soon.
@@familykrawlers appreciate that! It’s a super cool little kit, I think you’re going to enjoy the build!
@@bcochener I agree Brother. I can't wait to show it off....
How would u suggest i would go about starting to build one of these? Im new to the 24 scale stuff.. always been into bigger scales.. but these are cool? Do i need to buy a scx24.. then just start buying the upgrades?
Yes, I’d probably start with an RTR to get familiar with them. The upgrades and options are endless, so it’s good to have a starting point. You’ll be building your own in no time!
@bcochener thank u.. whats the strongest axles for the scx24?
@@mikeinvegas1 Strongest would be Mofo RC X15s. They have larger diameter inner axle shafts from TRX4Ms. Or, put a set of EXO.US U-joint CVDs in a stock axle, Super8, or Injora+4mm. Both have insane steering. Meus Racing makes some very nice Isokinetic axles that get really insane steering angle as well.
What rear suspension setup is that (links)? Build looks rad!
Thanks man. Just Deadbolt upper rear links. Trailing arms are same length as DB lower rear links.
Awesome build, as expected. Going to have to swap mine to magnets I think. What size are you using? I assume they are pretty thin so as not to lift the body up.
Hey there, appreciate that Phil! Yes those mags are super thin for that reason. You can stack if needed for more hold or to adjust height. I get them from Lee Valley. They have adhesive on one side I peel off before I shoe goo them. I use the 1/4” ones. @@bcochener Awesome, I'm getting straight on that! Again, top class build and video. Well done that man!
Great build . A lot of inspiration for mine 👌 Sub your channel 👍👍
Appreciate that! Thanks for the sub!
What battery will fit on the slider?
@29:45
How final project costs?
Not sure. But not cheap with the brass axle S8s, Treal parts, motor/ESC, 3 sets of wheels & tires.
