- Magical Maastricht Vrijthof Square is open from 2 December to 31 December. This includes a nostalgic carrousel, a sheltered ice rink, and a sky-high Ferris wheel. The above together with the cosy chalets, a vast range of Christmas market stalls, and a special passageway to the St Servatius' Basilica (Sint Servaasbasiliek) mean that this winter is truly going to be a sight to see!
The Christmas Market itself was sorrounded by fences and you could only enter the market after scanning your CoronaCheck app and showing an ID.
So, don't forget to bring your phone and an ID!
It closes at 5pm.
It was worth a visit! It's almost Christmas!
