Kenobi is such an amazing character he makes mistakes and learns. He has a wit and a charm about him that makes him interesting. He’s lost loved ones but through it all he was doing his best. He’s lost so much, his master, his love, his brother. But even then he believes in the force and tries his best to follow his own philosophy as he learned. He’s a good man who tries his best and it’s shown that doing your best brings greatness. I love Star Wars and I’m happy to see Obi wan getting respect. Also obi wan and Anakin the best duo ever. 🎉 great edit btw it was awesome.
The fact that when Obi wan says he is not the same man he used to be bail sees his friend in a broken spirit and emotional turmoil

Ok but that was heartbreaking!! The choice of clips, the music, the flawless cuts...!!!! Perfectly conveys the emotion and history of the character. Also, can we all just take a moment to appreciate how perfectly the scenes of the three duels were edited together? Absolutely amazing!!!! My heart is in my throat, well done!!!!

I never understood why Vader kept saying, "you will always loose" and "did you really think you could defeat me" Obiwan already did those things. Did he have amnesia???
Well, maybe Vader saw himself separate from Anakin

I wished they spent more time on Obi-Wan vs on the Sith Sister and Leia. Like the conflict between Obi-Wan and Anikan should have been the main focus and how he had to stay in hiding.
I think the problem is naming a show after a single character, as people suddenly stop caring about other characters because “it should be about the title character” rather than a balance of main and supporting characters

What reva was the main villain??? Shame we didn’t get a fight with obi wan and reva, terrible choice giving up darth vs kenobi instead.
If Qui-gon defeats Darth Maul, Anakin does not fall to the Dark side. Qui-Gon winning the duel would have meant he would be around to continue training Anakin. Hence, "Duel of the Fates." Qui-Gon representing one fate, Darth Maul representing the other. Anakin was, and always will be, the apprentice of Qui-gon. Obi-wan trained Anakin out of respect for Qui-Gon even though Obi-Wan had his own doubts/reservations.
The Star Wars movies were great on paper, but the acting was always terrible, among other things. But the stories were at least written well. Not the case with the sequels. Great acting, but the sequels are still total trash. Have to get the story and script right first.
Bullshit. Obi-Wan could not defeat Vader, he knew with new hope that this was his last fight. Obi-Wan took advantage of Anakin's young age, especially his short temper, to trap him on Mustafar. But defeating him in this form is not nonsense.
Well theres one advantage Obi-wan in his mini series had, which was that his age and trauma had not slowed him down too much yet, meaning he still had the flexibility and speed of episode 3, while Anakin as Vader lost speed in favor of strenght, strenght which plays into Obi-wans advantage because Soresu is specialised in defance and redirection, finesse coupled with speed is Obi-wan's weakness, aka Dooku's form.
Ofc when it comes to the force however he is hopelessly outmatched against Vader who is calmer, but since lightsaber is the method they always rely on at short range Obi-wan legitimately had a bigger advantage than on Mustafar.
Death star though yea, Obi-wan dies his body just couldnt follow anymore even if his spirit was still very active
@@erwannthietart3602 The show is bullshit. Vader, years later, regardless of injury, has become ten times stronger than Obi-Wan and Shien is far superior to Soresu, for it is the quintessence of defense and offense, and with the improvement of Vader's style it is an imba.

@@artorios5332 ofc the Show is BS ainst denying they did Vador dirty, "10 time stronger" is also BS however because its not the old extanded Universe where Power scaling was stupid lets be real , sure he is incredibly strong his style is great and should win more often than not against nearly all sorts of jedi, but then again *so was Anakin on Mustafar who was said to be stronger, faster, more skilled, more endurant than Obi-wan* and while yes he lost solely because he was blinded by rage Vader is notoriously slower than Anakin because the Armor restricts his mouvement and speed is key here.
Im not justifying how hard Vador was nerfed and how disgusting it was im justifying that Obi-wan is not out of Option at this point still, especially since in all honesty saying one form is superior to another is utter BS, its a style of fighting, it can be more fit to counter another style, but at the core theres no objective perfect style, only differant skill level at said style and we all know Obi-wan is no slouch when it comes to defance so even if Vaders style was objectively better its still the best practitionner of Soresu its not going down easily either way.
In lore Vader should win obviously, but in a scenario, Obi-wan is not 100% sure to lose either due to these varios factors, not just yet
