U2 are one of the greatest ever live bands.
Watch U2 live Aid 85, second best performance after Queen. Queen and U2 are really the only 2 live performances I remember about that day
that's true but also remember, the rest of the concert was actually pretty rubbish. Have you watched it recently. Its really dull. You can see that the bands came on mostly unprepared whereas Queen and U2 had clearly rehearsed and were ready for the crowd and the global audience.
The Who is also one of the greatest live performer

Bono has stated many times that he was a huge fan of Ian and his band Joy Division and has described meeting him and referred to him as ''A beautiful soul'' U2 song A day without me from their first album Boy was about Ian Cutis

I have been fortunate enough to see U2 in concert 7 times. This is always my favorite song they perform. I saw the Joshua Tree 30th anniversary tour and have a video of this entire song. I still watch it frequently.

One of the greatest rock albums ever, the Joshua Tree.
In the summer of 1983, U2 performed at Red Rocks, an outdoor amphitheater in the foothills above Denver, Colorado USA. While U2 has returned to Denver many times, They won't play again at Red Rocks.
Why? Because Bono has said that concert was so special there is no way they could match that night.
Fortunately the concert was filmed as a movie. It WAS special. You can easily find individual videos or the entire movie Under a Blood Red Sky. If you don't want to watch the entire concert, then just the song Sunday Bloody Sunday.
Another band that have much fans in Brasil u2 the People here listening u2 in favela.

The Joshua Tree was written lyrically by Bono specifically for & about America. Bono was so adept & brilliant lyrically, that he he could write songs with a surface meaning & a deeper more macro meaning as well. While this song is written in a person to person context, it is also a song written by the world to America. Bono is a outright genius & Poet Laureate for a generation.
One the Greatest bands of all time one Ireland Greatest acts & for people who don't know there is a hidden message in everyone of their songs because there Born again Christians there songs is there way of telling their Faith. I have to Respect that.

U2 live is a religious experience.
For me Rebeka there is only one better than u2 an thats Elvis P,this band have been performing since before the death of the king (1974) an there even better than they were then like a fine wine that matures perfectly, I've seen u2 perform twice in Melbourne an they are extremely talented they give me goose bumps like Elvis does
Please please please do the "live in boston." Thats the definitive version.
