    Man I just want to tell my story because this is First time I see someone who understand religion like I do and excuse my English it's not my language i'am an Arab.
    I was a rebel teenager i became an atheist at the age of 20, I thought religion is just a creation of some power-hungry people and I hated it back then, in 2016 It was dark time for me got hit by depression in about few months and contemplated suicide seriously, one night I got really depressed like never before I have a long history of depression but that night was different the mystics calls it the dark night of the soul( I know nothing about mysticism back then), that night is the first time I dared to look objectively in my dark side and it frigntned the hell out of me, that night I lived in hell, in the end of the night I had a strong feeling wanted to me to surrender to my suffering because I was resisting it and I did surrender, minute after this I had the best moment of my life its was an epiphany with an unlimited flow of insights about everything, I changed my view of every thing, I thought to myself this is what religion is about (I did not care about religion then for me its was a subject of mockery), with every insight I remember a verse of the quran or a hadith memorised when I was a child, I started to look at every verse of the quran from a different perspective then I started my research and I discovered that every religion is about the same thing which is surrender to God some my say that Buddhists don't believe in God I would say they surrender to nature which is a manifestation of God In our traditon, the difference between all religion is their vocabulary because they have different background culture, language etc...
    And I discovered that paradise an hell exists in this life, paradise is selfnesness, God consciousness, love, gratitude and hell is attachment to our ego, ungreatfullness(which is the real kufr). And thank you for reading I can write books about that mystical experience it changed my life god bless.

    I've been following for years and never really harkened upon the messages and meanings of mediation wallahi. However I've had some issue arise and these videos ever so often pop up in the algorithm. Recently I've been just now following and installing this practice into my life just in the niche of time. Sadly, there aren't many Muslims speaking about this lost art anymore. We should be the trailblazers for spiritual, mental and physical health. This video was excellent akhi BarackAllahu feekum.

    Dear Ihsan, if I, as an agnostic, meditate, help others, am good to my family members, don't indulge in immoral activities and cheat my significant other but *do not* believe in Allah and the Prophet Muhammad as his final messenger -- will I be destined to go to hell fire?
    I find your videos quite interesting, and think that Sufism is somewhat a mixture of Islam and Buddhism, although both Sufis and Buddhists will disagree. Thank you for the answer!

      Blessed greetings of peace and light, friend. Our understanding of such matters as human beings within this plane of existence is very limited, and it would be ignorant and arrogant for the average human being to even pretend to know who is "going to hell," or even what hell actually is. Insha'llah, with God's will, grace and guidance, I will make a post in more detail on this topic very soon, as I feel it needs to be clarified. For now, I will simply say that the purpose of religion, faith and spirituality is the awakening to and transmutation into LOVE. This is only possible through selflessness, through the transcendence of self. And this is only truly possible through humility and gratitude. And this then is the purpose of believing. There is no force or compulsion in the way. Do good, be good, think good, you will be guided to what is best. God is Merciful, Loving, Kind and Generous. He Almighty has no desire to punish His creation. Rather, we create our own suffering as a result of ego. Also, seek. Seek truth, have courage, ask the questions that are necessary. But take action, move. Be sincere. The answers are out there. Truth is out there, not in the form of ideology, but directly experience. Best wishes, friend. To your divine and eternal success.

    All sounds great but how come Islam doesn't teach us to do meditation....we're instructed to pray and that's our form of meditation. Do you have any hadith or quranic evidence?

    • @matrixdude01
      @matrixdude01 Před 5 lety +11

      He said in another video that the prophet use to meditate before he got his revelation. Meditation has many benefits that has been proven by Science and it's been practiced long before Islam. When a person pray, often this is not enough for him because the person might be praying but still he can't stay focused because he has all these negative voices in his Mind. Medidation helps you clear your Mind so that your attention goes in one direction and not left and right. In life you are bombarded with soo much information from news, tv, parents, relatives, etc..When our Sub-conscioud Mind is crowded with too many things, we get confused, lose motivation and don't do the things we know we are capable of doing. That's why medidation is one way to clear this data so that we can act from a source of inspiration and not from faulty memories.

    It all sound like some new age movement teaching, which has no islamic origin. Salah is the only form of connection Allah SWT wants us to offer to build a strong bond with him, and is sufficient. Please give reference to correct me if I'm wrong.
    Meditation has become a million dollar industry in the west mixing eastern philosophies and rituals to delude the masses. Studies report meditating for an extended priod of time causes depression, psychosis and demonic interference as we travel to the dimension of the jinnahs while meditating. If it was the most fundamental skill to connect to the Lord then 90% of Americans practicing new age eastern philosophies would'nt even need Islam as they're mediation 10 hours a day!

    • @SunOfG0D
      @SunOfG0D Před 5 lety +18

      Salaah does not mean to pray - that is duaa - the word is derived from صلى which literally means to connect. Yoga also literally means to connect and in essence similar to the salaah (best position is yoga is head on ground like prostration).
      Our kalimah starts with "laa ilaah" which is the act of nullifying the self and experience the death of ego which allows us to then truly know Allah - this is the act of "meditation" which every human is able to do and is a tool every prophet used.
      The ego is the ultimate idol and most of us are only praying in ritual and lip service without truly ever connecting - similar to how westerners practice "Yoga".
      When the ego dies only Allah remains. Iblis had access to the seven heavens and still fell slave to his ego...he's the lowest benchmark for mankind...think of what that implies.
      Salaam

    I think it’s haram in Islam unless you’re silence and doing Zikr(remembrance of ALLAH) or praying Namaz. Meditation is something Buddhist implement. Please gain more knowledge before spreading message to the mass, brother.
