    This lad has one hell of a voice for soul music.

    He did his song 'Mercy' on 'A Colors Show' which was great

    Music is a unifier because we all feel deeply and music connects us and we don’t feel alone in our feelings. Music pulls out what is in us, all the things, joy, sorrow, love, pain. Responding to music just means connection.

    You really ought to check out Pentatonix's cover of this song. It'll break your heart and blow your mind all at once.

    I personally feel like being secure in yourself enough to allow yourself to feel and express your own emotions without fear of external judgement is a sign of a much stronger and more mature mental state.
    Other guys don't want to cry because it thinks it'll make them look week? To me that insecurity is much more of a weakness than the ability to live life without the fear of others judging you.

      @@SuffiReax for another comparison, Pentatonix does a version that has Kirsten's lovely voice in the lead. You will also get to see Kevin do something that only he does called "celloboxing", beatboxing while playing cello. While they are an A capella group, when you have a world-class cellist who appeared at Carnegie Hall while in high school, it is a shame to let it go to waste. It is the only instrument they ever use and when they do it is prominently featured. Also you will get a very small taste of Kevin's tenor voice.

    Super soulful!!!
    Answer to question: for me crying used to be a sign of weakness but now I feel that it is such a huge vulnerability to cry that it takes more courage than strength to let it out.

    Hey bro glad you enjoyed Jacob Banks he has
    Such a powerful distinct voice. If you wanna freak out and listen to the best singer in the world at the moment check out Dimash. There is no one like him he is unique and can sing in 12 languages and play 8 instruments and can do the whistle note and hit octaves out of the charts. Check him out singing a French song called “SOS” or “Sinful Passion” you will be blown away

    It's really hard to answer, I guess it depends on the situation? To me it's not a weakness, it just means that you're in touch with your emotions. I get easily touched or moved by music, animals, children, speeches, and my eyes will tear up. It can be a bit embarrassing, but hey, that's just me. But my emotions would not stop me from taking action in situations where you need to be alert.

    • @lindaalisekarlsen1373
      @lindaalisekarlsen1373 Před 4 lety

      I guess it's considered more unusual if a guy cries, than a woman. I've only seen my husband cry once, at his grandfathers funeral. But why is that? Like Tyler Joseph said: Gangsters don't cry therefore I'm Mr. Mistyeyed.

    • @SuffiReax
      @SuffiReax  Před 4 lety +1

      Exactly, it is an interesting thought because naturally crying kinda seems like a weakness but why? We have to almost teach our brain to not think that it is a weakness. At least that is how it seems to me. Has it been stereotyped for so long, but even if that is the case, why was it stereotyped to begin with?
      Anyways, just fun thoughts I like to share and get others perspectives on :)

    From one point of view to show your vulnerability ia very brave and so crying is a sign of strength but then again to hold back so the ones around you don't get affected when you so badly want to break down can also be seen as strength ... So ... Idk

    To feel is to be human, whether it be crying or anything else. Why deny your nature... seems pointless.
