    Thank you sooo much for this video. I was about to spend over $800 for a soft frame bed when honestly, this is so much easier and frugal.

    I want to cover my faux leather headboard however it is a platform bed that has floor panels so I'm assuming they'd have to be covered also? There's also a footboard. So I'm worried because my bed has so many pieces. Is it worth it or should I just replace it?

    Hi! I have a similar tufted/nailhead wingback headboard and I was wondering if you just went over the buttons in the middle? I saw you take off the nailhead things on the wings but what about the middle? Thank you!

      @sweetvanillajamilla  Před 2 lety +5

      Hi Steven! I didn’t take off the buttons/tufting in the middle, I just covered it with the fabric so it was super easy! ☺️ thanks for watching!

    Hi there! I have an almost identical headboard I want to reupholster. How did you take the side panels off the headboard? I am afraid of damaging the headboard if I just start hacking away at it lol! Thanks so much for the video, it turned out so beautiful!

    • @sweetvanillajamilla
      @sweetvanillajamilla  Před 2 lety

      Hi :) Thank you so much! I was able to take off the side panels by screwing it off from the back. I kept the screwdriver tool that came with the bed frame to take it off. I recommend searching up the setup manual online if you can’t find it!

    • @sweetvanillajamilla

      Hi! I removed the wings first (there are hidden screws on the side) & just reupholstered the fabric super tightly & hid them from the back! It was very simple :) hope that helps!

      @sweetvanillajamilla  Před 2 lety

      Hi Phoebe! ☺️ yay! I’m happy my tips helped you! I’m actually not sure how to reduce the height, you’d probably need saw down the sides of the headboard, but it’d take some work! Happy holidays!

    • @lostmypassword1
      @lostmypassword1 Před rokem

      Phoebe - You may be able to just drill holes lower on the headboard legs. That would be the quickest and easiest method.
