Show some cozy spaces? Your larger projects are very impressive! But most people aren't able to afford to live that way and still want to be able to create a beautiful, sophisticated look in a smaller space.
Couldn’t agree more, most of their furniture is so big it also can’t be used in urban settings. A shame because i would like to buy it
Agree on Studio McGee items being huge! They are out of scale in my small house. Even decor I’ve gotten from their website looked great online and totally out of scale in my 1500 sq ft home. If my house was 3000+, it might have been more to scale. I like small n cozy spaces and want ideas to make them beautiful too

You can get the Ideas from what is shown. Just incorporate into your small scale decor. It can work for yous, since yous like, and do follow!!

How to style built-ins/bookshelves. More minimalist way of styling and also how to make it look pretty with more items.
I’d like to see videos on furniture placement, or how to choose window treatments for various window sizes. A lot of us live in homes that were built in the 80s or 90s. Rooms aren’t symmetrical, fireplaces are off center, windows are oddly placed, maybe too high or not centered. How to hang curtains in a kitchen nook with angled walls?

Love all your videos! I would love to see more behind the scenes working at the design studio, in depth process of the designers working with client to create mood boards to final plan. Also, the entire process of designing new products and how to go about getting them manufactured. That would be awesome!!😍
And how you personally went about designing and commercially manufacturing your first ever product. From your book you mentioned you started with pillows, but how did you jump from that to having furniture, lighting and decor produced? Being a designer, how did work out how that different business process operates? I run a small Traditional Chinese Medicine business (with background as a trained potter, and photographer) and I would love to perhaps one day, commercially develop related products in my field, and even though your field is different, seeing behind the scenes at that process would be very inspirational 🙂

I’d love to learn more about how to work with the colors you can’t easily change-flooring, trim, cabs and countertops in my case-to decide on a updated color palette that can help drive selections for new furniture, rug and decor. Really enjoy watching how Shea puts her bedding together so nicely and hearing her thought process about why she does what she does. I got her book and decorating takes time and you need a good eye for detail so before I make any purchases I like to study and research. I would like to see the items put on a link with sizes of pillows (i.e. big, medium, small doesn't tell us the actual size). Shea is using for ease of finding on her official website. I am watching the video and going to the website but seeing difference is color (i.e. the duvet is chocolate online versus hearing "rust" on video, the pillow is charcoal on website versus hearing "blue"). I just want to make sure I am buying the right item so there are no surprises or returns. If a link was given that would take us right the merchandise. Shea does a fabulous job and appreciate the educational videos since dressing a bed is an art! Beautifully presented:)

Hi, perhaps you may have already shown the following- how to choose the correct size and style night tables for a small bedroom with a bed that has an upholstered headboard.Also in order not to be so matchy- matchy , how would you coordinate the night tables with the main dresser so that it does not look piece meal either. Lots of us have area rugs that have enough pile that another rug on top really doesn't work. Ideas of how to bring more texture, pattern interest to a room when you are stuck with that beige carpet?
I struggle with picking out pillows and curtains that add interest to a room , so that it's not too busy but at the same time not too safe. A video on this will be much appreciated!

I would love to talk about banquettes! How to measure overhang, what size and leg style for dining table, styling, lighting....
I would like to see an in depth look at the art of arranging cushions/pillows on different size sofas, choosing the correct number, size, patterns and colours. And the same for arranging books and objects on either books shelves or glass cabinets.
Its good to see how you styled, but it would also have been good to add in how you selected the options that you did. Ie colour pallete and pattern so that they all work together.

I want some ideas on what to do with weird blank spaces in rooms- like a large area behind a living room couch that looks blank, a too-big corner in a master bedroom, a kitchen with too much walking space, etc. That's functional.

I really loved seeing all the options of styling!! Very cool. Thanks for taking the time to show us. I am not a fan of a million pillows. I just like having two on the bed. I had several for a few years and my husband and I are minimalists and we just were not enjoying it and reduced down again. I make quilts, so that part is simple for me to add to the bed, which I usually drape over not under.
