  • In this video I came across this package unit heat pump that had blown the low voltage breaker. I couldn't find the source of the trip but I sure found some issues. The blower was nasty. The indoor coil was nasty, the filters were nasty. All in all the unit was nasty. Join me in this video to get this nasty unit to run.

Low voltage wire rubbed out somewhere by the blower assembly or compressor? Just curious 🤷🏼‍♂Solid video. I have a feeling they'll be calling ya back for a tripped popper again though. I know you already know this, but check wires anywhere they could rub for those intermittent shorts like that.

YOU COULD check the voltage drop across the contactor while operating and see if you have anything above 1 volt.

Did you ohm out the contactor off camera? Just curious, great video as always!

No liquid line? How does the refrigerant get from the condenser to the evaporator? Teleportation? All kidding aside, I'm not familiar with something like that.

Am surprised he let you film the job. He would probably say no. “It takes more labor time, and I don’t want to pay for it “😎He didn’t want to pay for the cleaning.
