DJ...using a steering wheel... still in testing!!
You may want to use one of the mods that implements shuttle mode, so that the super stiff brake pedal is only used to slow you down, not used to reverse your vehicle. Then the accelerator will always be used to increase speed in whatever direction the shuttle is set to. Or you could swap the keybindings for clutch and brake, as the clutch spring is similar to the accelerator pedal. Also set the deadzones much lower, like 4-5%.
i set mine to 0%
You can remove the rubber stopper from the brake pedal too.

The fact that I'm actually considering this money for a Farming Sim is just crazy to me.
It works on other games
For FS19 I also use an Enhanced Driving mod - which gives you a key select for forward/reverse toggle, and makes the accelerator and brake work like you'd expect them to.

You have a 14% deadzone on make that zero then itâs realistic also get rid of force feedback as it donât work on fs, also the paddle shifters are L1 and R1 so they do work as a button.
L1 and R1 are located on the wheel face and are white on the X Box version while on the PS/PC version they're blue. The left and right hat switch is used to cycle between vehicles.
Go on the logitech software and make a profile for fs19 then turn off autocentering on games without force feedback because fs19 has no force feedback

If I remember correctly, you will have to modify the pedal, if you do not want to have breaks so stiff. There is a spring, which needs to be removed from the pedal.
If you set your wheel to 900 degrees , turn off force feedback set the wheel strength to 0 and combine the pedals making the clutch pedal the brake pedal makes fs19 and the wheel so much fun

I've had dual Side Panels since they released 3 or 4 years ago... both still work great... the only thing that 'broke' was the rubber 'jacket' around the stick lost the glue holding it to the stick... but that does not impede it working. Of course, mine was before Saitek was bought by satan :)
if you want the steering wheel input to be exact turn up your steering sensitivities until the in game wheel matches yours
For me, once I downloaded the FS19 custom profile through the Logitech software, and fine tuned it a bit, the wheel performs extremely well.
I have the same setup and I swiched the brake padal and clutch pedal. A lot of screws but it worth it.... đ

That side panel would be great for photo editing in lightroom... back in the day I mapped a PS2 style controller and used to get paid to edit weddings for others in lightrioom.
Iâve been using the g920 since September for farm sim on xbox and so far I LOVE it. It works very well and it makes for realistic work. And Iâve been using my xbox controler to change the view and do the frontloader work.
Do you also use the side panel if so how have you got it to work from reviews and videos it doesnât seem to work

You should use 450 degrees for the wheel. 900 degrees is too much, you can change it in logitech software. Thanks for the great video.

For the break pedal you just need to remove a rubber stop. One the rubber has been removed tou will no long need to put full body weight to stop. It's a mod alot of people with that setup have done and you can find videos on how to remove it

I was going to get the side panel, I got the thrustmaster 1600m flight stick instead. I already had a G25 wheel, came with a shifter back than....lol

My wheel does that looping too itâs because itâs calibrating because on some games it uses force feedback wich makes it do what your in game wheels do
if you press the brake pedal once then right back to it again it will slow you down a little faster. i do this with the controller i do this with the whole setup with the side panel. it takes some time to get used to. but it does work pretty well if you still use the steering wheel and pedals.
useing the wheel in fs is a pain to set up but so worth it :) the red button on side panel is for hand tools aka chainsaw
One thing I suggest is going into the key bind section and properly setting up I use 2 joysticks for excavators and had to set it up like that
Hey DJ been watching your videos for about 2 months now, finally had a day off, came up with a setup for plowing youâre gonna love, works on PS4 so I assume all platforms and revolutionizes the way you view plowing.
I have the same steering wheel and pedal setup, I would recommend opening up the pedals and on the brake remove the rubber stopper. It will b a whole lot better

I tend to set my brake in FS to the clutch pedal since you dont really need the clutch in FS and it's a much lighter pedal

Yeah def need to calibrate the sensitivity of the wheel because I had the same problem but it makes the experience so much better

please tell me you looked for a tutorial to remove that deadzone if not, go to settings and then controls where you change the device to the G920 and set the deadzone down to 0% instead of 14%

Change your dedzone on you steering week for FS thatâs what Daggerwin has to do
also you have to rebind your actions to the buttons on the control panel on fs because they are not bound to xbox or kbm binds they are their own binds

just took my thrustmaster rs500 off after trying for 30 seconds lol. that was my problem too is moving around after.
The one thing Iâve missed is the steering wheel adjustment as Iâve just plugged it in the Xbox and has given me a spring steering setting but need both hands to do full lockđłđ€
you need to the control panel then reset joypad controls that often works
I wish i could get a side panel setup for my FS but my kids and my wife will always come before what I want lol

Hi go Ham this is a bit hard in the start but when you know what all bottens do is so easy and you will never play the old way . Mr sealy P have a good tutorial for all what you can do with it , so i hope you will love it as i do.
Does the side panel work on the Xbox as Iâve got the sailtek and it doesnât work atol but the steering wheel works great but the only thing is the steering is a bit stiff making it tricky using the looking stick as you need both hands to steer
I have a tip for you, modify the brake pedal by removing the rubber cuboid. it is very easy to do, there is a video on the youtube how to do it.

You can pull the rubber stop from behind the brake pedal so that it isn't so hard to push.
On mine I have the side panel joystick main function to move the camera around the tractor and when you peers the red button it switches to front-loader control
DJ the joystick on the sidepannel has 2 buttons red and black , if you press the black button until a light đĄ comes on on the black button ... use the joystick to - look around -
Hey dj you can take the bottom of your pedals off and what I did was switched the clutch spring to the brake and the brake spring to the clutch that's what I did and it makes it a lot easier

dj ik u probs wont read this but if u want it to turn instanly when u move the wheel change the deadzone to 1% it makes it so when u turn just a little bit it will turn exactly the way u turn

I love my Logitech Side panel. You can map the buttons.
You would have to turn the rotation degrees down to probably 360 or 540 if you can but it's currently set to like 920 I think

You need to set Axis 1 deadzone to 0 so it will work like a car when u turn it

Yeah go into your settings in the main menu and remove all the deadzones and you will have a much better experience. Using the wheel on fs19 takes alot of trial and error
