  • The history and legacy of trail building in Vancouver’s North Shore mountains is incredible, few places on earth have had as much impact on the mountain biking community as these Canadian mountains. Follow Geoff Gulevich and legendary trail builder Todd “Digger” Fiander on their quest to sanction mountain biking trails with the local government. With the evolution of mountain biking as a sport, came the due diligence of preserving the land for future generations to enjoy.

    Great to see Digger still at it and all the progress in maintaining access and evolving the trails. Big changes since Holly and I were there in 1998 as IMBA Trail Care Crew 2, and I'm stoked to see the same vibe of volunteerism, pushing the boundaries and playing the long game.     I was at Mt Seymour early August. It was raining. I was scared coz i thought it would be slippery specially the wooden section and the rocks. To my surprise, it was so grippy. I wanted to take home a piece of wood to show off my riding buddies here in Calgary, LOL!
