- The reasons are varied and complex, and can involve everything from emotional dissatisfaction to sexual boredom. Cheating is a complex issue that affects many relationships. While it's often assumed that men are the primary culprits, research shows that women cheat just as frequently.
1. Emotional Nourishment: It's rare to have a sexual relationship without some emotions cropping up. In fact, most affairs begin with a social friendship or workplace friendship. That's how the boundaries get slippery.
2. Anger and Retaliation: Some women may start to resent their partner because of unresolved conflicts or previous infidelity, or from not helping enough with the kids or household. Their own infidelity becomes an act of retribution.
3. Boredom: some women who cheat are missing those thrilling hallmarks of a relationship's beginning stages when passion and intrigue have yet to give way to routine. This is a big reason why men cheat!
4. Sexual Deprivation/Loneliness (Story: That was me!)
5. Opportunity: Few acts of infidelity are premeditated. Usually, an affair is a result of an unexpected opportunity. A woman feels sad or lonely or frustrated, and they happen to meet someone in a similar situation. In fact, these partners usually can't explain why they cheated. They say things like, "It just happened." Social Media is a big issue!
6. Relationship Shopping: Men are more likely to cheat for sex. Women are more likely to cheat because they are looking for an exit door.
7. Attachment Insecurity: People with an anxious or avoidant attachment style are more likely to cheat, seek out reassurance from a third-party partner, or attempt to avoid the intimacy of the primary relationship.

Several surveys all came to the same conclusion: ~85% of females admitted to having affairs, nearly 80% admitted to having more than one lover, and about 93% admitted to being married. That means out of 100 women, 85 had an affair, and out of that 85 - 68 had more than one lover, and 79 were married!

Too much work guys too much work, its like trying to keep a spoiled. 9-year-old happy .Work on yourself. While you're trying to entertain her emotional rollercoaster you're not working on yourself. And you're not bettering yourself, no matter what you do. If she's doesn't have morals she's gonna stray if you're a super good guy or not. It's a day to day struggle. Women run on emotions and they change by the hour. How she "felt" yesterday is different than today.

My impression is that women can operate at another level altogether. They can withold sex to drive the man to have an affair, so that the woman can blame the man for the breakup. It is however, the woman's initiative. Women's attitude to their husband/partner changes, quite dramatically a few years into a relationship.

Advice is completely outdated. As women become more masculine they are mych more like men. Forget western women, best to just meet chicks in different countries like Japan, Iran, Armenia ,Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Turkey among few places. They even make great platonic friends.
