Awesome! This is the exact reason why I use this string. Was looking for a Luxilon alternative and loved this string.

Nice review! I have an old BHS set and will strung my Prince Graphite Classic with it.
I like the “afterthotts” section too 😂

I use the silver rough. I suggest that as hybrid main with round softer Poli cross for spin snapback, bite and comfort.
    No power but good length

  • @CH-yp5by

Nice review, I might try this with a hybrid setup with some natural gut, the low cost of this string can help balance out the high cost of the gut.

Big hitter blue rough is also a great string. I use it with in a hybrid with round poly mains and BHBR crosses.

Interesting review thanks. I’m just trialing Duraflux and comparing to Black Knight.
Of greater interest…… When did you change to the Pure Aero VS??? How do you find them??

Long-time fan of Tourna strings. You should try Big Hitter Black 7 if you haven't tried it yet. It's a shaped poly but I find the feel to be pretty decent.

I am currently using a reel of Tourna BHS in 17g in my Phantom Pro 93P 18 x 20 at 53lbs mains and 51lbs in the crosses. The ball pocketing is great and spin is average. The touch shots are exceptional and beyond your wildest dreams at leas than $7 a set.

    • @coryhoi7764

  • @amorco
    @amorco Před 2 lety

Many average or unexperienced tennis players as your self get fooled by the Tourna Big hitter with Luxilon ALU. ALU has by far the best feel from all the polys which stands out and separates from all the strings out there. Why do you think pros use them still in the pro tour (for 20 yrs now since they came out)and not Tourna Big Hitter as this?

    • @kelseykelsey1248

Alu power extremely over rated. loses tension rapidly.
      plays dead after 10 hours.
      And feel? Really?
It just sucks. Tourna Big Hitter blue 17 beats Alu in every category at half the price.
