mit diesem Lied haben wir vor 10 tagen meine mama verabschiedet.... Leider hatte sie gegen den Krebs keine Chance. es gibt keinen perfekten moment, nur einen nicht ganz so schlimmen. ich kann nur hoffen das ich etwas von dem was sie mir mitgegeben hat weitergeben kann.... das Leben geht weiter, aber es wird immer etwas fehlen....

a Latin expression meaning "seize the day", used for saying that people should enjoy the present rather than worrying about the future
fine, but if you don't look to the future, the present would be a bit uncertain, I think so.....
My interpretation: The whole thing plays on two levels: Reality (color) and an "Otherworldly dimension" b/w gray.
The three dark figures (past, present and future - to take up the "time" metaphor here) are connecting beings between these levels, which plant the soul/life and also bring it back again and let it flow back into the stream of time (symbolized by the sand jet).
The sand monument symbolizes perhaps the life of a single person with the most important people and memories that then remain from so sand.
Yes, the sand clock is constantly running for all of us `till the Time Keepers coming to catch us.

With every day that we live, we come closer to death. This already begins with birth. There is nothing we can do about it.
I was asking myself if he was also meaning, that we don't always make the best of our time and kind of are dying inside while being trapped in our daily routines

Its very poëtic, so your interpretation is as good as mine. To me, it shows how time brings us death. But also: how time brought us life. Without time: there would be no life.
It also shows we are all from the same source (the sand), we all come from one consciousness. We live our lives inside our body, to then be merged again into this cosmic consciousness.

Very good reaction. Also about Death / end ot relationships. Klaus Hoffmann describes it in his great, deep song "Weil ich Dich lieb".
My interpretation and thought was time goes on like a continuous cycle and those rare occasions when we are truly happy of course we want time to stop. The showing of the sand and hourglass ⌛ time keeps going and them showing the scenes reversing to me meant a desire to go back in time either to the moment of birth and start our lives over or to before we're even born saying no i don't even want to be born i want to go back before i was even conscious of my own existence and mortality. Them being blindfolded to me was no one knows whats going to happen in the future we don't know what kind of lives these babies are going to have.
Another thing that came to my mind is the babies being put back in to the mother to be born again on earth and also coming back in a sense they died on earth and are now being born in the other world and their birth or rebirth on earth is them already starting to die because as soon as your born your dying..your dying to live or as Rammstein put it "Wir sterben weiter bis wir leben" "We keep dying until we live" because in a sense what we perceive as dying is us actually being born again into the other world that's why the girl in the end seems happy when she dies because she knows that her death here means her being born over there..if that makes any Sense? This is art at its finest 🥰

But doesn't this finiteness of being also make it valuable and beautiful? I think it's a great pity when you can't enjoy the moment. Reminds me a little of the movie "Interview with a Vampire" or a good book. Sad is only when you constantly worry about the future or mourn the past. Fill the time you have with something meaningful, otherwise everything is meaningless.
