New to me thrift and charity resale shops in upscale Bellaire, Texas. Rock bottom prices at St. Vincent de Paul Resale Shop. Tabletop, collectibles, furniture, and fashion will have you flocking to this store for deals. Second hand shopping is a great way to expand your home decor and wardrobe. See the German Mid-Century anniversary clock I take home. Lenox plates for pennies on the dollar. Next stop is AGC Boutique with a beautifully merchandised store full of treasures. I had never thought of storing my socks in a crystal punch bowl.
Anything goes with a punch bowl. We also use for tortilla chips when serving a Mexican food buffet.
Thank you for all the hard work you put into your videos, they are enjoyed! Your strawberry basket was originally sold at Neiman Marcus and came with a jar of special strawberry jam, my Mother received one as a gift in the early 80’s and she has never tired of it.

After your visit to Tomball, I visited a couple of Houston area Goodwill stores. I found some lovely pieces including a flawless Westmoreland sugar bowl (now holding spoons on my coffee bar), a couple pieces of Heisey etched (a compote, and a celery dish), a divided Candlewick olive dish. Such treasures! Alexandra Stoddard always stressed living a beautiful life- socks in a punch bowl would certainly qualify!

These are great prices and you go home with quality items. Things in the stores today are very expensive for what they are and their quality. I have learned what to look for from your channel and have carefully chosen myself some quality preowned pieces that I enjoy seeing out in my home. Thanks for another great video.

Absolutely beautiful video. I have the Lenox china presidential setting. I got 4 setting's for my wedding. 30 years ago. My mother in law gifted me nortika full setting. I gave it to good will. The box was extremely heavy. 2 guys had to carry it into the donation room. I'm hoping it finds a nice home/family. Everything was amazing. I've been shopping at good will, St Vincent DePaul etc. Forever. It's nice to see people enjoying the experience. Thank you so much for sharing. PLEASE….. someone tell store owners not to put the price of glass and heavy and expensive items on the BOTTOM of the all these items. Some of us have arthritis or children or bags that make it so dangerous to pick up these beautiful pieces just to find the price. I know they (stores ) all price items this way…but now that I have painful hands, I would so appreciate not having to lift beautiful , interesting pieces to see the price. ❤ I know that no one will listen to me, but I just had to put in my request. 😂. What great places to shop. Wish you were in my area. 😊

I feel like we've been on a similar trajectory in thrifting - noticed no Waterford bargains among your finds today - though they seemed to have been at every turn recently. I've had the same luck - great Waterford bargain finds for over a month but not a thing as of late. 😕 Thank you for teaching me how to spot Waterford in a sea of clear glass! The hunt is the best part!

Love seeing all the china patterns, when my son and daughter-in-law bought their second home in Holland,I purchased a beautiful breakfast set for her,I stumbled upon a 16 piece set of Hermès at an estate sale it was called the Rythme pattern ,she wanted an elegant pattern that didn't distact from her floral centerpieces(I had to agree,the flowers in Holland are hard to compete with).Fabulous videos,thanks for sharing ❤

Prices at your Society of Saint Vincent de Paul seem reasonable, the Long Island Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is unreasonably very expensive, I stopped going there 20 years ago. Goodwill, Salvation Army and my personal fav consignment shop are reassonable.
Dried floral arrangement under the big cloche, maybe with some feather scupture birds (not taxidermied ones like the Victorians). Thousand butterflies, cool, Seymour Mann porcelain company, he was the father of novelist Erica Jong.
Wow - such wonderful stores today. A few years ago at a local millionaire’s estate sale, I had a chance at the Hancock china - a 16 setting collection - I can just kick myself for leaving it behind. Oh…the lessons we learn in hindsight.
I will say that I have found some of the most beautiful watercolor paintings at my Salvation Army. I tend towards smaller pieces. My favorite one I thrifted, I gave to my sister. Every time I see it my heart hurts a bit - if she ever tires of it, I will gladly give it a new home.

24:42 The clear pitcher that you featured looks a lot like a wine decanter 🍷 that was gifted to us about 7 years ago. It was new in box at the time and it was from Macy's. I believe that it was about $75 retail.

So, so many beautiful items! Loved the sets of dishes especially the Noritake that was so sweet and dainty. The (Depression green?) dresser set was very attractive and different - something that would have reminded me of my grandmother's house. Thank you for the great shopping trips!
