I worked in a French Country show room that carried beautiful french furniture. And having designed many french country rooms, it's still my favorite look!
Absolutely beautiful. Thank you.
Always a pleasure to watch and learn!! Thank you Lady Mary Beth!

I love a mixture of Chinoiserie with french country furniture - accent with chintz fabrics. Can't go wrong with blue and white porcelain pieces - never go out of style. 💙

Gosh, the Haddon Hall set with the addition of the pink depression glass was so, so pretty. Feminine and light, I loved it!
So many lovely items and beautiful well made furniture! I like the colorful Chinoiserie. The antique shop really makes everything look so appealing.
Hi lady Mary Beth,I love this store lv Ann 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is my kind of place. I’m so drawn to the colorful pieces you feature in this video, the rose medallion bowl, pink transferware with colorful florals in the middle, and the Minton set. Just dreamy. 😍 Thank you for a very enjoyable tour (yet again!), Lady Mary Beth!
Thanks for another fabulous tour! That was so much fun!
The pink charlotte plates very interesting backstamp as it also includes the name Of Clarice Cliff who was famous in the 20s and 30s for her handpainted art deco designs
🏆 ~Loved!! Such beautiful items in this fine store!🍍🤗
I think there is so much value in quality antiques. I’m glad that I grew up in a household where my family used these pieces in everyday living. Great memories for me!
Not a horse but. It is a harness brass used by farmers to dress up their draft horses when going to market in town. English in origin
Any plans to do a video with Mark? Sounds like he has a wonderful Waterford collection, I'd love to see it 😀
We are talking about it. 😀
Thank you for a fabulous tour as always very informative.x
Love that store!!!! Thanks again for another informative and fun video.
Ohh,lovely Lady MaryBeth,how you enchant me,you have no idea🥰😂🥰
Dreamy! Beautiful and right up my alley! Thank you so much! ❤your friend will love the clock!
I rather enjoyed this..Haddon Hall and a fair few “made in England” pieces..Thanks Ma’ Lady for sharing this 🙂🇬🇧
Great video. I’m learning so much. I too collect the Portmeiron botanic garden pattern. I’ve found pieces at HomeGoods recently. I wrongly assumed all was made in England. I will have to check the back stamps. Hope I don’t have made in China pieces.
Oh my! So fancy lol
The garden stools are magnificent
I’ve never seen so much chinoiserie in one place! So beautiful! And I just adore the Blue Willow! 💙💙💙 Thoroughly enjoyed this episode!
Thanks for watching! 💙🤍💙
Everything is displayed so beautifully! Enjoyed the tour!
I can never see too much Chinoiserie and blue and white! Love this episode and wish this store was near me in California! 🤗
So many wonderful items, loved the Waterford conch shell and the assortment of amazing glassware, and the prices on those beautiful pieces of furniture. Wow! You never disappoint me, Lady Mary Beth! 🍍
Thanks so much for your kind words. Yes, the Waterford conch shell was a deal. Saved it for you. 🐚
I forgot to tell you….. I so liked your ring you were wearing on your right hand
@@teresa8610 Thanks! It’s a retired leaf ring from my favorite James Avery Artisan Jewelry.
Hello Lady Mary Beth i hope you managed to watch the coronation on your tv i love watching all the other members of the royal families were related to [As a country } it was a low key affair but was nice to see the royal families from the netherlands and greece x great vlog hope you enjoyed your weekend xx
We were in Britain from Canada when the Coronation was on. We thought it would be too busy in London so went up to Edinburgh. We were on the Royal Yacht Britannia while Charles was being coronated. What a lovely place to be with the Queen and her family’s mementos and treasures all around us. They even served us bubbly and shortbread.
@@scrabbleking1 sounds lovely im glad the day after was dry and warmer hope you saw some lovely places in Edinburgh x
Such beautiful things ! I saw several pieces that I would have brought home !
Such a wonderful video!!!! Again I learned so much! So many beautiful pieces!!! ❤❤❤❤

love that stored ❤😊
Butiful treasures ….great informative video …..🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦👍🙋🏼♀️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks so much! Greeting from Texas. 😘
It is so hard to see these beautiful items, especially the Waterford, and know that living in a northern state prevents one from running out the front door and simply driving to this wonderful shop. For now, I will just keep watching as Mary Beth shows us the wonderful things she finds in these shops.
Shops and dealers will sometimes ship to you. It’s worth a call and store contact is in video description.
Another excellent video, so much learn
I appreciate you watching! 😘
I have a couple of round Minton trays, one larger than the other in that pattern, but they are factory seconds with a scratch through the back stamp, they look fine to me. I think I bought them in the nineties from T J Max. My house had those small windows (nineties house, with valance size separate window above the long window, great for displaying plates on stands).
Lady Mary Beth. I have a chinoiserie garden bench at the foot of the stair. It assist me when I am awaiting my chairlift, to sit on, while I await the return of my chairmaster which was left at the top of the stairs. Oooops by me😂
Excellent idea! 💡
All that chinese porcelain is brand new including the “rose medallion” shallow bowl they have dated 1900!!
Thank you for the educational experience.
Have some Haddon Hall lovely pattern.
It truly is a beautiful pattern with great colors for tablescapes.
At 24:16, Spode salad plate back stamped Clarisse Cliff, renowned British pottery designer
I just got my 10” brass pineapple for $30 !
Great price! 🍍🍍🍍
The McKinley act is mainly a tariff act. Raising tariffs as much as 50 percent! The country if origin was of les importance. The tariff act of 1930 was more important in that all items imported into the US had to be marked with the country where it was made. The Democrats replaced the McKinley act with the Wilson- Gorman act in 1894 which lowered the tariffs.
True. Lots more to the McKinley Act.
They don’t make furniture like that anymore
You are right about that. Antiques are a better quality and price compared to most new furniture pieces.
