- Just a quick beginners guide for some Mortal Kombat 1 starting points for Ashrah if you are new to the game! I go over how to use her strings effectively and best spacing practices! There is also some tech at the end! Mortal Kombat 1 can get overwhelming quick, so here are some tips to help! Please let me know if I missed anything! i appreciate all of the support! One more BIG thing of Ashrah is cancellable armor which allows to punish with a full combo on wakeup

Except if your opponent reads the wakeup cancel and then it's a full combo punish. But yes, Ashra's flash parry is great.

You can teleport and punish most projectiles with astral projection. At full screen its almost always a punish and will most likely stop you opponents from tryna zone you again. Unless that's all they know how to do or are low IQ.

I'll just add that bf2 hold 2 is great option vs zoners and it hits further than most of players think and on max range on block it's only -11

I actually haven’t looked at it yet but I need to because I still play a ton of Ashrah.
I just picked her up over the weekend, I'm enjoying her just gotta find a good Kameo for her.
Been using Sonya but the pros using kung Lao
Kung Lao is tough because of all the mix ups!
Yeah you can’t go wrong with a bunch of different Kameos for her. Lao seems to be an issue though. 😅
Goro or Scorpion for combo extension, and being able to combo off her grab. Scorpion gives you another overhead, goro gives you a grab to mix in as well and keeps you safe.

Im struggling with comboing f2 ,bf2 into goro kameo for combo extension. Any tips? I dont know whether to do the close goro or far goro call and or if i should hold down on the bf2.

Played a against an Ashrah a while back. I was playing li mei and gimmicking my way through because her 214 is plus. As soon as my opponent realized that, they unleashed hell on me with some of these concepts 😂 As awesome as this character is, I can't help but think she's going to be nerfed soon
I’d be interested to see what NRS will do with the upcoming patches as well! I know the Kameos are going to get hit HARD. 😅
I hope she isn't nerfed too hard. I'm really enjoying playing her. Overall, I don't think she's nearly as big of a problem as some other characters.
@@sny_guy I wonder though besides Cyrax which is our favorite yellow elephant in the room who else might get a nerf or even a buff
@@kayjay2094 Agreed. A lot of it might be perception issue since, in my experience at least, not a lot of people play her, and the ones who do are simply good players
@daniell.raharitahiana5727 I see a lot of people complaining about Serena, but I also don't think she's a big problem and don't think she deserves a nerf. I think one buff candidate is Motaro and the health disadvantage.
