All her health problems were due to her unhappiness -needing love ❤❤😢😢😢😢😢
She had a true love, but the Royals wouldn't let her marry a divorced man
Public commentators have been very hard on Princess Margaret. But once I heard King Charles speak of his aunt. At family gatherings he described her as vivacious and spirited. I am old and I remember pictures of her as a young person. She was a very beautiful woman. I still enjoy seeing them. What profit is there now for the criticism. It only hurts those who survive.
Basically. Don’t smoke 600 cigarettes a day
I doubt anyone could smoke that many in a day.
Rip queen Elizabeth and Margaret 😢😢
This took place around 20 years back. The passing away of the princess was indeed tragic.
Why? She was a Gin soaked lush
@@redfire20003
she wasn't happy, so we can understand her mistakes
@@redfire20003And an asshole to boot.
@@redfire20003My grandfather was one year younger than Princess Margaret so you can say he was from that same era. All of the people from that era drank incredibly heavily. That doesn’t make them bad people. Compared to my grandfather Margaret was an Angel. My grandfather was a whiskey swilling douche bag. She made mistakes in her life which is understandable given the life she was born into
Armstrong Jones started having affairs first. He just never got caught. So she took all the blame. 😢
Even her own family took his side in the matter. Of course that all changed when it was proven he cheated on Margaret while they were engaged
She was wild and spoiled. No one could leave a party before her. She was a negligent mother and a hedonist. She was full of herself. She was an alcoholic and heavy smoker.
I think its because she was broken. She couldnot marry the man she loved. That definitely destroyed her
@@thae5618and plus her father dying I don’t think she ever recovered from it.
Princess Margaret was a good person. She didn’t deserve that early death. The reasons she was like that were bc she had a very, very hard life
the M for ME (me me me), not Margaret 😮
@@WorldZeroGuide "Very, very hard life"...
You must be joking? She's a frickin royal 😂
Poor Margie ...
Jones the photographer was no comparison to Peter Townsend. They loved each other to the end
Meeting 40 yrs later… sad sad sad
I had know idea that Margaret final years were so difficult
Terrible
Oh yes they were
Did most of it to herself
@@Dana-cg4nmyou’re all heart aren’t you
You can’t abuse your body and live vibrantly in old age
Well if my grandfather is anything to go on you are totally wrong on that one. He smoked and drank his whole life. His liver was totally pickled. He lived to 93
Princess Margaret smoked four packs a day and began drinking in the morning. It finally caught up to her. Was she given blood pressure medication?
She was a chain smoker her entire adult life, just like her father.
By all accounts also cranked heavily
And she should have learned from what happened to him.
Sad that she made so many bad decisions for herself.
No, Princess Margaret was not an alcoholic, she just drank all the time.
Well, what do you think an alcoholic is?
People who say that someone just liked to drink are the enablers of alcoholics, excusing them from getting traetment because "firends" say this is normal. No, it is not.
She could have married Capt. Townsend. It was her decision nor to marry him because she didn't want to give up the lifestyle of a princess.
People like to conveniently forget that.
That part.
People constantly misrepresent Princess Margaret’s motives here. While it’s true she could have married Group Captain Townsend if she gave up her titles and privileges, it had very little to do at all with maintaining her lifestyle.
Princess Margaret very, very firmly believed that the greatest sin you could commit as a member of the royal family was letting The Late Queen down. Anybody who transgressed this rule was as good as dead to her.
That’s why she didn’t marry Peter Townsend. She felt that her ultimate role in life was to be a support to her sister, and giving up her position as a working member of the royal family for something as paltry as love would have gone against the core of who she was as a person. That being said, she never fully recovered from that decision.

Godforbid she might have to earn a living! ( clutch my pearls!)
She just hot use to alcohol?? Wow! What a weird way to say she was an alcoholic.
Mum was 101
I did not take alcoholics anymore without lots of water before and this is untill now a strong habit.
She would smoke.I stoped to smoke when I 26 years. Now around seventies I long live as for now.
Smoked like a fiend, drank like a fish, add in all the recreational drugs and eventually that lifestyle takes its toll. Sad.
Yet she lived to her early 70's
@AmiNa-nw5ld that's a young age to die.
Her mother passed same year
Also being number 2 without a clear role 😢
Either she was totally ignorant or wanted to die young, her Father died a horrible death as did her uncle due to thier heavy smoking. She of all people knew this and should of stopped at once, I guess it was her way of thumbing her nose at her position in life...
Which uncle are you referring to that died???
SHE SMOKED AND DRANK HERSELF TO DEATH SO SAD 😮
Margaret has lived under her sister's shadow. After her father's early death she was in akward role.
ah perempuan MANJA.BIARLAH MATI MUDA..BUAT KERJAAN SEMUA ORANG AJA KALO P.UMUR.😮
The royal family has done atrocious things throughout history and there can never be an excuse for that however,I sometimes feel sorry for them.I mean, they are not allowed to be human,to shed a tear,to be vulnerable,to marry whoever they love,to be themselves,to be free and to make mistakes, things we all are allowed to do.
And don't forget they actually do work very hard. Most anyway. In my opinion anyway. Especially Princess Anne. I truly admire her and her spunk. The way she spoke to the man who tried to kidnap her was classic Anne. "I don't bloody think so"! ❤
For all the luxury, glamour and all the perks it it is a small price to pay.
@@adalbertomodesusa I don't know. I can't put myself in their shoes. I can't even imagine it. So I can't say what kind of price it is.
What "hard work?" They're an opening act, wave at people and sometimes let the peasants get close. No actual labor is involved.
and got her driver shot
She and mother passed same year 2001
2002
And Margaret went first.
I feel like they rushed her to marry anyone because she was 30 years old.
Thats hard to get head around. With her looks she should have guys lined up. After her father's early death her life turned upside down.
I did not take alcohics anymore without taking water too much.
They should have let her marry the man she loved
VARIOUS FAMILY MEMBERS SUFFERED FROM ADDICTIVR BEHAVOURS & COULD OF BENIFITED FROM THERAPY TO SAY THE LEAST.
ELIZABETH HAD OCD AS A YOUNG CHILD. THEY WERE HUMAN AFTER ALL!!!!
HER PARTYING WAYS LED TK HER ILL HEALTH & DRINKING ALCOHOL IS A WAY OF SELF MEDICATING TO NUMB EMOTIONAL PAIN ANYONE WHO SAYS OTHERWISE IS IN DENIAL . IT'S VERY UNFORTUNATE. RIP TO ALL!!!!✨️🌟💖🧨🕊🕊🕊🙏
Margaret was a lot to put up with.
Like what too much money ?
@@marshnnlike her husband leaving notes for her to find calling her names and insulting her appearance. Why is it that just because someone has money that they can’t possibly have a reason to be anything but happy
8:49 Poor punctuation. use a comma where needed.
9:28 Not St. Georges Chapel. Looks like Westminster hall. Sloppy research.
She lay in state in Westminster hall.
But years of a good royal life, llewellyn and a actor called bindon,,, ,think bindon committed suicide, good actor, tough guy roles,
Inaccurate photos.
Hello her husband left having affairs first -roddy was to be a joy
Armstrong-Jones had affairs before Margaret.
And?
Not to mention the toxic behaviour he displayed towards the end of their marriage. All those little notes he left everywhere like in her books insulting her and calling her names
Don't Smoke Kids ...
she smoked lots and lots 👍and was pissed most of the time 😂🤷♀️
Did not treat commoners well, at all
An entitled lot. I can imagine she made her staffs life miserable at the end of her days.watch her flicking her fingers for a gentleman to come closer to her ??
I could also assume you make your husband's life miserable or go about like an entitled lady even though I don't know you.
How come 80s photo video look better than 2002
I heard she ended up in a wheelchair because she fell into a hot bath while drunk
Mhm she had a burn accident in the tub and it resulted in her having major burns and struggling to walk
She had a stroke while in the bath and accidentally turned the taps up to hot instead of off
ngga berguna samsek ni pere😂
She should of gotten a real job .
She thought she was it but no morals no values.
