I'm an ER nurse and I flushed a beetle like that out of a guy's ear. It popped into his ear when he was mowing. He was in a lot of distress when he arrived and nearly passed out when he saw what I flushed from his ear.

Also I was a prismacolor color pencil instagram artist in college and I didnt use white to blend. Just a LOT of layers and a LOOOOT of patience lol
Hats off to you because I can NOT ever have the patience required to use coloured pencils. Idk how people do it. Much prefer paints and big brushes XD

I am a huge addict of all the videos which are related to the art supplies kept in weird art supplies drawer.. Especially all those products which is having a great history...Its good when rae turns into a history teacher.... By the way she explains is so good...
I really like it when someone thinks in a sense that when making the most of what you have you will eventually have the most of what you have made. Then I absolutely love it when they think this way and see real results. Rae! You have come so far! Amazing job! :)

I have been sick since birth and about 15 years ago I lost my ability to draw and do art, it crushed me… about two months ago, I started a new medication and now for the first time in my adult life I’m already selling a few pieces I’ve just done. I was heart broken when I lost my fine motor skills and to get it back feels like a dream, it’s been non stop go go go art turning out 3-4 drawings finished per day and rebuying all the art supplies I couldn’t use before…
I’m now able to enjoy art and videos like these keep me going through all these lockdowns and give me inspirations to flourish with… the best part was I didn’t lose my skills despite doing no drawing or art for 10-15 years at all… one day I want to follow the lead of CZcams artists and learn from them each too but it’ll take time I’ve come so far in just two months already, it was all my dreams true to sell finished drawings this last few weeks.
Collecting (and organizing) Paper, Sketchbooks and other art supplies is an hobby in itself! No one can convince me otherwise!
ive been watching you for years and it makes me very happy to see you grow. i began with cheap art supplies myself and began collecting through time so i felt that connection with you and it only made ur videos more relatable. congratulations in all ur success and i hope you continue to make more art videos

I did a major overhaul of my studio earlier this year, and ended up buying two sets of white ALEX drawer units. Ahhh I love them so much, and they hold so much stuff! So expensive though (but worth it!). Great to see your awesome studio spaces. I hope one day my channel is as epic as yours. 💜

Such a great collection, neatly organised=)
I have two shelves in my room dedicated to my art stuff and it helps me limit my purchases lol. It’s all organized from sketchbooks/pads to marker stands etc. mainly consisting of POSCA, acrylic paints in box’s, box fuil of random paper for junk journal, dish stand with my watercolor palette, etc etc so much but love it allllll!!!!

I found a Beatle like that before going to school so I thought it was dead and I left it in my bedroom, when I got home the Beatle was awake, and my mom told me that those tend to fall asleep. So it was not dead.

I'm surprised that you don't have many powdered pigments other than the mica. Seems like that would be up your alley considering that you have all forms of other pigments. You might want to also check out interference pigments which are also known as chameleon colors. Those are really fun to play with.
Also glow in the dark pigments and thermochromatic pigments.

I know you may not see this, but I have watched your videos for about 6 years when I was 6 years old, if I never have found your channel, I wouldn’t of been doing art and I know I’m only twelve, but I have designed things for many people and one of my artworks has been on a beer bottle before!!! I couldn’t have done this without your channel stay safe everyone reading!!!
