I've been watching casted ao3 games for a long time. Not trying to nitpick, but try to swap between the two players more often. You very often just stay on one player for 5+ minute segments at a time.

Maybe Hwoarang went for a Hussar opening in case of the Fast Fortress into Organ Guns play?
They counter the Organ Guns in combat and can slow down the game with raiding to expose the weakness of terrible economy 💹👎 and development of FF.
Yeh perhaps, but Opti just does like doing this opening with Spain, seen him do it a few times.
He was keeping himself open to Chile revolt for huss of death if port had gone super greedy FI turtle
@@Mobiledds That actually has anti-synergy, because Chile's Hussar of Death unlock gives the unit upgrades for free.
So if you end up going for Hussars early, you will end up having to waste resources for the unit upgrades to use them while you wait for the revolt.
Kevin makes cannons just to lose I guess, if he did dragon-skirm he would kill more :D or Halb-Organ

31:25 you CANT touch espadachins with melee, they have 40% melee resist XD, at most halbs can maybe tank and snare for the goons
Halbs hit like a truck compared to a rodelero. 28 base damage, 40 at guard vs 20 for a rod. I don't think they are the right unit regardless (musket would be better), really he just needed a unit that could stand and fight rods while his ranged units dealt damage. 20 muskets + the goon mass would have worked way better vs rods, the rods can't just ignore the muskets and would take 3x as long to kill a musket as a goon.
idk, maybe he just wanted a goon spam game, doesn't make sense to spam pure goon into rodelero.

The speed debuff of corsolet can be completely negated by military drummers from the advanced arsenal and liberation march, but it doesn't look like he ever got the drummers and he doesn't have liberation march in his deck. Also Kevin should have gone Halb Goon instead of mono combing Goons for most of the game.
The Corselet debuff is -15% speed for +25% health. The Rodeleros still had 5.70 Speed however, whereas you would expect it to be 5.10, so Opti has definitely researched Military Drummers to turn that -15% into a -5%.
I feel Kevin should have gone single Galleon to train units for raiding right next to Hwoarang's base, and give them something to run back to.
Also, he should have probably added more aggressive units, because Dragoons are a bit passive. Or switched the Dragoons to melee mode, where they are better versus Settlers (they don't have a reduced attack multiplier and have the same dps including rate of fire).
He got military drummers right after he sent advanced arsenal, prior to getting corselet

@@Nyah420 yes by 5 %, so drummers with 10 % and liberation march negate the 15 % speed debuff of corsolet completely.

I think I'm mentioning it (although I really don't know, it's just that my English is somewhat basic xd) but the card from Casa de Trastamara doesn't add up, let me explain! If you advance in age before using the Trastamara card, the effects are reset! so no matter how many shipments you made in age 2 and 1 and you went to age 3, they will not count and only the shipments you made in that age will be counted.

That's how it's supposed to be. Opti sent lots of age 2 cards in Age 3 so they still count towards his age 4 trastamara age up
