Wright texted her on Friday night and asked her be in the video with only the weekend to learn the dance moves because they were shooting that Monday. She definitely nailed it.
It doesn't hurt she is eye candy too ☺️
and, also, you know...she's hot.
Almost 80s should be the name of this group
Love the song but it sounds like a Howard Jones cover!
Be jealous, I just discovered this song for the first time and watching it with fresh eyes on repeat. Lost track with how many times I've replayed it, STILL haven't worn it out haha.
Becks music is amazing. His role as an accessory to his own creation(instead of an owner) makes his offerings extraordinary and pure
That's an awesome way to put it.
As a Peruvian, I approve of these pan flutes.
They're not real pan flutes, it's a preset on the Korg M1 synthesizer
The pan flutes are great, I agree, and it's cool that your Peruvian, however I'm not sure what being Peruvian has to do with the pan flutes in the song.
@Dan Carroll That is awesome! I love the wind instruments my self, they evoke a sort of existential connection to the soul. I've loved the Pan flute since I was a kid, I can only imagine what Amsterdam Pan flute was like. I bet it was amazing.
I feel like that SNL sketch but instead of cow bell it's Pan Flute
Pero de flautas peruanas no hay nada, caunsa.
My gosh, Beck is a freaking genius. Not only the song is insanely good and catchy, but the music video is spectacular by itself
wow, never knew beck still made music, the only songs i ever heard from him were 'loser' 'where its at' and devils haircut'. Didn't think he would make a dance/pop album but this is a good song, heard it on Forza Horizon 4. Cant believe he is 50 and still looks the same!
It is in my opinion that Beck is one of the greatest music artists of our time.
Agreed
It’s not just ur opinion. He is amazing!!!
Couldn't agree more
I saw him in a small venue several years ago. One of the best shows I've seen and I worked in live music for about 20 years.
You can easily drop out the "one of" part 😁
This makes me love Alison Brie even more! Beck is a legend.
Tyson Wheeler Bojack, Glow, she’s always in the best projects lately.
Genius. Also, Beck is looking like Thom Yorke's nerdy wholesome younger brother.
Shocked that Edgar wright made this! It’s so good it’s why he is my favorite movie director and Beck being one of my favorite musicians this was the best collaboration ever
I can't get over how good this is. Watched it like 5 times already.
I had no idea this existed until a strange CZcams algorithm suggested it to me, so I listened...I am hooked.
@@MrMusicGuy1980 I heard it in my neighborhood grocery store, they usually play dope music but, I jammed out to this in the cookie/cracker aisle.
*ANY ONE AFTER THE GRAMMY* 👏👏👏 CONGRATULATIONS BECK
AT LEAST BECK STILL REPRESENTS A REAL MODERN DAY ROCK ARTISTS , CONGRATULATIONS TO WINNING A GRAMMY AND FOR GETTING A GOOD DIVORCE SETTLEMENT😁😍😌😇
Spurged.
I've been a fan of his music for years. Always felt his lyrics were just amazing. When I heard this album, it blew me away and was instantly one of my top five all-time. The guy is one of a kind.
I've been a fan of his music since I was in the third grade. I listened to Devil's Haircut all the time as a wee lad, and I still love his music to this day.
BEST VIDEO EVER!!
Beck is a genius
This song is like " hey do you feel that humanity is just dark ? well you better think twice"
Thanks for the human warmth!
Most people: This music video is amazing!
Me in the corner: Forza
Yes :D
Horizon Pulse
Wait this is in forza?
me too❤️
We came for Forza Horizon
Beck is finally starting to show some age... and yet he still looks 20 years younger than he is. Damn.
Man Beck is still kicking butt and is so very underrated. I ask friends if they heard of his recent stuff and all I get is, "the guy who wrote 'Loser?'"
Then I play stuff from Odelay, Guero, and The Information and suddenly they're like, "oooh right, he wrote this?!?"
I was pleasantly surprised to see Alison Brie in this as I am a big fan of hers when she was on Community, she can really dance!
Check out Glow, as good or better than community
Check out all of Mellow Gold, One Foot in the Grave, and Stereopathetic Soulmanure
I believe he played all of the instruments with the help from one or two people. His range of style changes all the time.
Agree! Alison Brie is a badass!
Beck isn’t underrated. He’s incredibly prolific and recognized, both by fans and musical peers and critics. He’s pretty much the opposite of underrated. Sounds more like you have musically clueless friends.
Forza Horizan 4 anyone?
I swear when I'm playing that game and this song comes on something just clicks.
Yea
Same
I play fortnite but when I do play forza I hear it
Me rn lol
Mr Akiruga gotta love Forza man
I love this song and the American actress that I even thought was British ❤❤❤
Beck....LOV'YA from Italy!!! Here I would need 5 bodies in order of being able of having the best fun, I cannot dance as I wish!!! Too beautiful!!! Thank you for all your creations of the last 30 years😃
My applauds to the team behind the music video. The choreography, editing and cinematography are top notch and simply are amazing!
I think I’ve just watched the best music video.
Edgar Wright Directed it
If Maddie Ziegler wasn't the director of choreography they need to at least give her credit for inspiration
try Around the world - Daft Punk
Deviant Pictures Films Edgar Wright is the mastermind behind this video, he directed baby driver and scott pilgrim vs the world.
Video felt a little tired. Really do love Edgar Wright and his work. Sorry to hear this had to pollute his fine repertoire of outstanding works.
i've watched this more times than i can count. it's literally so hypnotizing
Doesn't get more "top-shelf" than this when it comes to modern pop music. Beck's a genius.
The video looks like the golden age of mtv 😳
that girl is badass!
Edit: oh lol, that's alison brie
I'm getting very strong Peter Gabriel vibes from both the song and Edgar Wright's visuals. Makes me want to watch the videos for Sledgehammer and Big Time again.
You read my mind pal xd
Definitely see the Sledgehammer in this. And with Edgar's knack for clever editing this was sure to be fire.
I get more of a "Daft Punk - Around the World" vibe from this video.
Honestly I can see a number of influences in both the song and the video.
Definitely
❤ this song❤❤❤
Random CZcams recommend, gave it a try. I am a big long time Beck fan, at first I didn't feel this was up to the level of the older stuff. By the end of song my mind was changed. Listening to it for third time in a row now. Gets in your head in a weird way, the way good Beck stuff does. Nice colors, too.
Damn, home sweet home. I missed creativity so much. I was a mid80-mid90 kid and It's so hard find gems like this today
I'm sure you'll be nominated for a Best Music Video Grammy. Deserves!
This is the 20th time I've clicked this song, CZcams now recommends it every time no matter what I search. I f***ing love this song.
This is probably my favorite music video ever
I've liked Beck's music for a few years now and this is an unexpected turn...
Although originally dedicated to "classic rock" and later to alternative ROCK, STARTING IN MY 40S AND NOW my 50S, I EMBRACE ALL MUSICAL GENRES-INCLUDING COUNTRY AND BLUEGRASS- AS BRILLIANT WORTHY HUMAN ART...IT WAS ONLY INEVITABLE CONSIDERING THAT I WAS TRAINED IN CLASSICAL PIANO AT THE TENDER AGE OF FOUR...I ADORE CLASSICAL AND BAROQUE MUSIC TOO, SOME OF WHOSE ELEMENTS (CHROMATIC STRUCTURE) THIS SONG EMBODIES....
It's always great to keep exploring music, I wish I did more of it in my late teens. I'm 30 now and I have so many years of music to go through all at once!
I can't believe I've not realized what an absolute unique treasure Beck is until this evening watching lots of his incredible music. Thanks Beck very much!
Where has this been all my life and why wasn't it recommended to me sooner?!
How can it be, that Alison is getting even more beautiful the older she gets? O.o
Bro beck you are a legend
too bad he's a scientologist
@@adj789 he meant his music is great you worshipping nothing fuck
@@adj789 his personal life doesn't matter. His artwork is great no matter what.
@@adj789 he's a second generation Scientologist and doesn't really like to bring it up so I'll give him a pass. I bet if he left it would cause strain between him and other celebrities or the church of Scientology itself, or even his family and he doesn't want to do that.
@@adj789 Atleast he's not a Christian
Stunning woman
With love from Russia 😘
Beck - Colors (feat. Blue Man Group)
hahahaha
wtf
Alexis Hernández the Blue Man Group is a comedic group famous for their performance art. The people in the video strongly resemble the Blue Man Group and their choreography is a bit reminiscent of their onstage antics.
@@marcospaulreal5922 thank you captain obvious
Also Featuring: Yellow Man Group
But no Tobias Fünke unfortunately
Just love this song. Beck is truly an amazing artist. Loving Alison Brie in this too. Soooooo good
Thank god we have beck!
When Beck played this live opening for U2 in Detroit when I saw him, everyone was dancing. So good.
I never thought I'd see the day. It's on CZcams. Dreams do come true.
But Dreams didn't get a music video this one is for Colors.
Haha Im joking I also never thought the day would come, I had already buy it on itunes :S
I! Can't! Stop! Rewatching! It!
Wtf?
Alison Brie just fills up the lens. What a complete force in this wonderful video and insanely catchy song.
Underrated as hell!
Such a soothing balm in troubled times.
Thank you, Beck.
I can smell the dried paint and sweat that made this video
it smelled like the ink out of a government ink pen to me
@@joeypadgett7895 what a dick
I am addicted to this video......
I love the MGMT vibe throughout this song!
