He never thought he'd your again after suffering this injury. He said he had to whistle the songs on his album Modern Guilt because it hurt so much to sing. He is a genius. So humble. beyond cool. I've been a fan since Loser. Morning Phase is gorgeous. Thank God he's ok. I have a spinal injury too. He won't speak much about it, but I'm so curious about what he had and if he had surgery- which is really risky.

I listen to loads of Beck and have for decades. He is exceptionally intelligent in his music compositions. He keeps it simple but his diversity and unique sound is what makes listening to a full album so great.

I love this song, but this music video is hard to watch now. For more detailed look it up, but it almost ended Beck's career because he sustained a spinal injury which required surgery and slowed his musical output. I'm really glad he is alright now, could not do without Beck's music! :)
