I watch you do this so I don’t have to 😂! I’m a rockcrawler, haven’t gotten my 4wd slash yet, not quite ready for that speed. Take care stay safe thanks for the vid!
@@joseywilds3133 6s is a lot but it is doable. I went from 3s to 6s and my reaction was wow but now it is normal. I just stay away from it because if that hits you it is amputated.😀
Great review, gonna have to look more into these when I get my arrma! lol, also on an unrelated topic, I was wondering what your first thoughts of the new traxxas sledge are?
Does the 6S battery need a jumper on one connector or does it connect to both esc cables? Also what servo are you running? I’m piecing together parts for a 6S EXB Kraton. Or the Sledge I haven’t 100% committed.
I’m running a super cheap metal gear servo…not sure what brand…..it’ll plug right into the IC5 but since there are two connectors you’ll have to put a jumper in one of them to complete the circuit for it to work with just one battery
Never run a Lipo without charging to full. They come storage charge and have a chemical in them that stabilizes the Lipo till it sells. First charge this chemical goes away. Not charging it can limit its life span drastically (think in the range of 20 cycles vs 100s) This isn't guaranteed, but I have seen it happen a lot more than you would expect.
Hey bro what receiver are you running with your futaba 4pv ? I have the same transmitter mainly used for indoors drifting ,not sure if that same receiver would work for these bashers, thanks in advance!
I’m not super familiar with all their battery sizes….I’m sure they make a 4s pack that will fit for the Maxx though….especially since the v2 Maxx has a larger battery tray than the v1
@RC Knockout not too sure mate just started smoking as soon as it was connected. There are 2 connecters on the Esc it doesn't matter which one I use with 6s does it as im new to it all?
I've been using Zeee packs over the last year or so pretty reliable so far. Thanks for the run👍
No problem…..I’ve had good luck with their batteries too….they seem to be good quality and reasonably priced
I use those batteries. Short term, they have been working very well so far for me. Good stuff as usual bud
Thanks man! Yeah they’ve worked well for me in the past too.
That thing has some traction. Good video, keep up the good work.
Thank you! Oh yeah it does hook up pretty good!
Nice! And the ripping skid marks you laid down at 2:55.
Glad you liked it!
6s zeee I need one of those. Love the vids Nolan.
Thanks man!
i have quite a few zeee hardpacks for my notorious running on 6s, they definitely are good bang for buck.
Yeah man they seem like a good quality battery for a reasonable price

It seems cool……for me though it’s too close to my Arrma Kraton EXB…..I don’t think I could justify purchasing one
I have 2 3s 9000mah batteries and they work so good in my traxxas m41 and all my cars
Nice! So far it’s working really well for me

Glad to help!
Cool battery and test
Thanks bro!
Curious on a couple things: Did you have to shim the V5 diffs? What oil weight are in all 3 diffs?
No I took it all apart but it was shimmed perfectly….honestly I can’t remember what weight are in the diffs

Yeah they’re still holding up
What diff oils are u running. Looks great.
Thanks! 10k rear and 60k front I believe
Looking to get the max v2. What zeee 3 and 4s batteries will work?

Hi how long does the 6000mah battery last for from fully charged to going flat when running it in rc car
Usually around 15-20 minutes
I run Zee batteries. (2s) I was about to purchase two 3s batteries from zee but it didn't have the Deans T connector I needed.
I gotcha…..maybe you could find some somewhere? I’ve had good luck overall with their batteries
@@RCKnockout Yea probably. Soldering different connectors was an option too. But I'm not confident on my soldering skills yet.
@@Mr.Ramirez95 that’s alright….I highly dislike soldering myself…..I always make a mess and it ends up looking sloppy
What charger do you recommend for these batteties?
Really any charger will do…..I run a Venom charger
how much run time do you get our of a battery like that?
Usually 15-20 minutes of runtime
Is a X2 zeeee 3s 80c any good for the kraton 6s ??
Yeah if you buy two of them they’d work great in a 6s Kraton!
Can I charge that battery with a charger that has an IC5 connector even though the battery has and EC5?
I’m pretty sure you can
whats your run time on that battery please as i might be getting it?
Around 15-20 minutes
@@RCKnockout jeeez not what I expected 😂 I gotta spend a lot of money on battery’s then 😂
@@bradley7019 yeah batteries don’t last long lol
What’s the runtime on fhose?
15-20 minutes….probably only 10 minutes if you’re doing strictly speed passes
Mate I put this battery in my car the same as this and my speed controller and battery started smoking and burnt out. Any idea why this happened?
That sounds like some sort of short occurred within your esc…was the smoke from the battery or Esc?

@@keaginm2791 nice man! How’d it go?
@@RCKnockout the battery worked great but it got a little warm, a bit kore then lipos usually do. But I'm not concerned about it
