- We're back with more MvC2 character overviews! Today we're talking about M. Bison, a character that it seems a lot of people have forgotten about in Marvel vs Capcom 2. He's far from being a top tier character, but he has some elements that allow him to perform well, in particular his mixups and ability to combo into DHC with Sentinel. Hope you enjoy!

This is how you make Bison OP:
You pick Bison on point. You give him Expansion assist.
You do the same thing with your other two characters.
You get three bars and Team Hyper Combo.
Watch as your now NINE M. Bisons crush all that oppose them.

This has been my team since the new ratio list dropped, and I absolutely love seeing a channel like yours showing off how fun Bison/Sentinel is!
Bison has some real good movement in this game that teleport is real good, bison has the tk head stomp that will just clear the whole screen with decent recovery. Literally one side of the screen to the other, Bison flight mode isn’t bad either. Bison dive isn’t to bad either and has ok recovery also and I think it’s an overhead. His worst move is unfortunately scissor kicks, horrible recovery IMO
Bison recovers from psycho crusher real quick and that orb blast assist is real good
I believe bison can call assist from teleport, bison can super jump to the top of the screen and teleport back down, he wants to run away he can definitely do it and not a lot of characters can do anything about it

He seems like an interesting character but it's confusing looking at him to know what he does
Just to share some tech - Bison can scissor kick after the sweep.
This is a nice setup after some crouching light kicks to keep them watching their feet. You can combine it with a jumping fierce kick to get it started which i think might be overhead. Now you have overhead and low in same combo that you can dhc out of since you can do special after scissor kick.
You have to write a great book about this

yo! mind if you talk a bout dhalsim on marvel vs capcom 2? i ask because i saw this character pretty high in most of the tier list about this game and as far i can remember dhalsim is quite pretty slow.
I really think it is sooo cool that stuff is still being found in MvC2 and other classic games. I appreciate JMcrofts taking the time to highlight these discoveries :)
Which assist is best for Bison? I always thought it was Variety.

Google fightcade. Go to the official website. From there you can Google the Fightcade2 JSON which will auto install roms when you enter the lobby for a game if you down l don't already have it.
They have a discord as well which can help is this isn't enough detail for you

I’ve always wanted to play bison but never came up with a good ratio team for him. How good can you build around bison without sentinel?
Gambit works super well with bison. They dhc together perfectly and it looks dope when gambit throws the staff up to throw the cards and it knocks the opponent down into the cards super. Also the card assist is like a capture which makes getting offense going with bison easier

Someone I met at the arcade 2 months ago suggested for me to use Jin/expansion, Silver Samurai, and Cable/antiair as a team comp to learn

Very nice video. I think its kinda weird to have a ratio format but then trying to abuse it to do the same stuff you could do with top tiers though.Not hating or anything like that just a shower thought

These are ratio matches. They're not the same thing as low tier matches.

Omega Red was Clockworks original point character so he's gotta be at least high-mid or bottom A-tier
Hard to find a lot of matches with him using omega red, his block strings with that kick special cancel has yet to be fleshed out

It is broken but nope lol. Try and do that against storm and sentinel, it just isn't enough to compare to how busted the top tiers are in this game, there is a reason this ratio concept has emerged
@@DethMetalGuitars But it's the super that does the most damage, especially with the glitch. Even top tiers can't tank it at half their health or slightly more.
M. Bison was more broken in MSH vs. SF.

Got wrecked by someone using bison and gambit. (keep in mind I am not considered a good player in mvc2) BUT I know synergy when I see it. Gambit card assist into bison air combo dhc which combos into gambit card super with the staff being thrown up smacking them down into the flurry. It's worth a look

For some reason on mac, mvc 2 or any flycast game wont run
I notice you got alot of normal jumping in there with sent. Normal jump stomp is good and all, but you can pull off the same kind of traps with fly cancel fast fly lk, and you get to keep your unfly.
Keep up the great work, and don't feel bad about mopping the floor with a noob here and there. That's why noobs are around.

You can also play it on NullDC BEAR if you find that easier.
Fightcade is super easy now. Probably simpler than BEAR. Google fightcade 2 JSON. It will auto install games once you join a game lobby. If that's too hard, then I don't know how you can even comprehend how to play a fighting game lol.
