Goth House is what we needed, this is like taking Lemon Glow and cranking up to 11 and it sounds amazing, the album isn't even completely out and it already is one of their best.
I had no idea just how badly I needed Goth House, on repeat.. 2022 is off to a damn good start.

Sound so familiar yet so fresh. Classic yet so new. Beach house is in a zone of their own where they can make music that isn’t very different from their music but at the same time so completely unique to any other sound they’ve made.

This is a complete masterpice, is it Dream Goth? Or another kind of similar mixture of genres... I don't know, but this a is new direction for Beach House. This album is their best in all aspects. Mastering what they did pretty well in the past, trying new textures in their present work and defining a new road to travel in the future. Dream pop never sounded so fucking good.
You should check out Cocteau Twins - Treasure if you want some insanely goth dream pop, especially the song "Cicely"

Hit me yesterday, that buildup and the collision collapsing back to the original theme, made my head spin. I'm not sure what "here tonight then gone forever" means exactly but with the music it just blows me away.

This is like Beach House's take on synthwave/dark synth and as expected holy quacamoly incredible. Easily one of the best songs on the album. Hope they take the King Gizzard route and give an album with a more synth style.
The chorus part sounds so good.

This track is a masterpiece. 2:46 The bridge reminds me of David Wise's music, especially his 'Stickerbrush Symphony'

Really enjoying this track & the album roll out from Beach House! Masquerade makes me think of mid-90s NIN. I'm not a big NIN fan, but the synths & beats sound a bit like NIN of that era. Listen especially to that synth snare drum sound. The intro flanging hi-hat sound is a bit like some Aphex Twin tracks.
