It's not an EP. It's the first quarter of an LP called Once Twice Melody being released in February. The other three quarters of the album will be released in three more batches between now and then.

I am usually afraid when the bands i love release stuff after a while, what if they're not as good as before or what if they have changed too much . Beachhouse somehow changed its style slighlty but remained Beachhouse. Listening to this on repeat soon.
every album they produce is a different style! one of my favorite things about Beach House. you never know what to expect from the next chapter.
Kinda like how deftones always experimented but their sound is always undeniably deftones.
kinda the opposite with me - I hope my fave bands keep evolving and don't stay on one safe spot too much.
and for me BH did it really well with "7" and so far listening to these new tracks I am pretty optimistic too :)
Their evolution album to album is so subtle but very cool to watch. I liked how 7 was a little more minimal. I don't even know how to describe what's going on here but my ears love it.

This song holds a special meaning to me. My grandma’s first love died when he was only 18, and my grandma was 16. It was a tradition back then that when such youthful love is ruthlessly shattered by death, the girl must wear a wedding dress to the funeral. So she did. I can almost see her tears falling under the white veil. Hers truly is a heart that was meant to break.

This is another great track off OTM. It has a drama, a theatricality. The use of strings and the percussion is great. All part of the cinematic nature of this first chapter.

This and "Over and Over" are pure Beach House. I like that they have sounded the same, yet grown their sound with each release.
took some shrooms & played this album while laying down in a dark room. i saw soundwaves entering my ear from the headphones and it started making nice visuals. this song is what caught my attention the most out of the whole album but only because i was peaking hard. still such a beautiful album man 😭

Long-time Beach House fan, but I just listened to their newest album yesterday. This song was quite a ride and blew me away. Those dramatic stabs at 0:11, the dreamy moment at 2:18, the guitar playing the song out at 4:17, and everything in between. Beautiful song.
