Radiohead and Slowdive are two 90s bands that somehow survived with all their members intact still to this day. Considering how many artists who made depressing alt rock at the time died soon afterwards, like Elliott Smith, Jeff Buckley, Layne Staley, Kurt Cobain, Sparklehorse, Andrew Wood, etc. and how many bands immediately split up, it's pretty damn surprising.

percussion helps this version of the song immensely, I like it much more than the album version. That said, nothing will ever touch the original acoustic version

I still come back to this now and then months after first hearing it and it sucks me in hard each and every time.
True love waits is my most favorite song from RH and shoegaze is one of my favorite genre, and the combination of these two literally makes me burst into tears, this is way too good to be true, love it sooo much 😭💓
