6% minimum safety margin and field weakening on level 9.
The wheel most likely do 60 standing, but I don't want to push these cells too hard. Take a look at the voltage drop throughout the video. The battery on the 50E model is rated around 60 amps. As, you can see in the video, although I'm sneaking up to high speeds, the battery current is peaking around 80 amps. The voltage sag from these cells at these current levels is alarming in the world of performance EUC. I'm currently building a p42 battery. I'll report back with a comparison video between the two.

You have more fun with the EUC than the ESK8 or is it mainly for practicality and learning something new along the way ? Wondering because you were about to break the sound barrier on those and now you got to learn it all over again from scratch 🤔 (I am myself on an esk8 and tempted by euc).
Hey I’m haveing issues getting mine past 40 what is your field weakening set at and what does speed correction do I compared speed to an app and its similar do some ex30s come not calibrated? Tia I’m trying to send it but the pedal gets stiff and it’s hard to go past 40
Shouldn't be an issue unless tiltback is turned on. Check your settings. Turn it off if it's on. If it's off and you still feel resistance, update firmware and try again. If all else fails, lean harder.

Oh no. This is a pretty safe speed. It should be able to do 60, I just don't push the 50E battery too hard up top. I've dipped it under hard acceleration too many times lol
I think I might have seen you yesterday afternoon with your board in lakewood. It was far away, and I couldn't really tell, but the board and the guy looked like you. Zoomed away before I could say hi, lol. Was that you?

That was a great little sprint. Alien rides have the 50e cells and 50gb cells for only 2700 and 2800 dollars respectively. Thinking about ordering one tomorrow, which battery pack you think best?
Those cells perform similarly to each other and can be a good choice for some people. If you're an aggressive or heavy rider, I would recommend the 50S version. Either way, EX30 is a monster

Sick wheel. Have you ever had the chance to try the begode extreme? Any thoughts vs the ex30?
Begode extreme is a beautiful wheel and powerful. Used it all winter to get to work and the power is three till about 50mph

What do you mean by that? Doesn't 2% mean you are very close to cutting out? Or is the saftey margin being misreported somehow? If you are really are 98% of the way to cutting out isn't that kind of the definition of dangerous?
what firmware are you on?
I was on the recent field weakening firmware, but I just updated to the 330 amp test firmware
Did you have beep on that speed ? Level 9 field weakening? Any noticeable difference to latest official EX30 firmware?
Beeps at 6% safety margin? Absolutely lol. Yeah, the firmware is definitely better. No high acceleration or braking dips. Newest firmware also allows for 330 phase amps, whereas the previous only allowed for 280.
