I changed my pre-order from the EX30 to a Master Pro V2!! I wanted a second wheel, to compliment my Master, as a road cruiser and everything I have been seeing is that the EX30 could REPLACE my Master. EX30 looks like a fantastic wheel.
Those two wheels would compliment each other nicely especially if you like a touring wheel with tons of range.

VERY important
For the suspension test, you guys might be able to compare suspensions by going at a constant speed over various sized bumps and putting a sensor or something on the wheel to measure bounce. It has to be on the wheel, not the person because your knees will act as suspensions.
Sound good but getting the suspension configured for the rider will have more influence to the test than anything else. For that style of test rider to suspension config is key, and that's more of an artform than a science.
Yeah, it's not the most scientific.. more of a joke with a touch of results haha

Thanks for the tip! In the past I've sliced my fingers on sharp edges on Begode wheels so I'm always careful when picking Begode wheels up but I'll *carefully* try that next time.

What a brilliant and funny review! You HAVE to get aftermarket pads on that wheel, as soon as my wheel arrived, I installed a plastic panel with Velcro and put pads with great control and this wheel has amazing braking and endless torque & power even going uphill.
I have 595 miles on mine in less than 2 weeks and I love it more each time I ride. I've ridden it at night and while the lights aren't as bright as the other wheels it's still decent enough to be functional, unlike my v1.5 Master.
I think this wheel will be winning races, the lower center of gravity and weight makes this wheel really stable if you're not afraid to muscle it around, and with basically endless power the torque lover in me gets giddy when I ride this wheel with some attitude. I hope it sells well for you, because this is the most fun I've had on an euc.

Car suspention shops often have a automated shake plate test rig for testing suspension components without removal from the car, you might be able to make a business arangement to use one for euc testing? Good number generator for scientific testing.
That could work as an addition to but we want to show people trail riding at the same time.
That sounds way less fun that me riding with a coffee, wearing a lab coat.
It's OK, in the next video, you will all marvel at the innovations I have designed to take the coffee test to the NEXT LEVEL

They are all about the hype, s22, Master, Master Pro, V13 all great wheels according to this channel(and some of the most popular ones) just swipe the shitty problems under the rug. But hey they are genuinely great videos for just entertaining purposes
They shall get better with time. I agree the suspension test was lacking a bit of.. science haha.

Maybe you guys could make a video after x months or at the end of a year showing some data how many problems you got with x, y, z wheels or/and brands and how many of those were critical, persistent stuff like that. But maybe that's asking too much
Awesome to see Begode reacting to aaaaall the endless criticisms and worries and shortcomings people pointed out about their past wheels (especially the Master, which I still love).
Begode's whole philosophy of "unit testing each of their wheels with consumers" is frustrating, but I think at this rate, they will start to figure it out and the quality is going to shoot up.
I love that you didnt modify the pads for any of your tests with it.

@@darkstar4494 Because it is 101lbs or so, you have to put effort off the front line, but it gets to 30+ fast, faster than my Master I think. The thing is, it doesn't feel like you're already at 30+mph but then I look at my phone and I'm like, damn, I'm already at my cruising speed! Also passing cars when already in motion is a breeze, it feels like you have a muscle car under your legs.

@darkstar4494 I think it's plenty zippy if you're not afraid to muscle it around. I basically wanted a longe range master and the tradeoff is weight because of more battery but you also get a more powerful motor with more nimbleness due to lower center of gravity, so for me it's as perfect of a wheel I can get at the moment.

Did you guys have any issues of not getting full 134.4 V charge to your batteries? If you didn't then you probably got the new power distribution board. This is what I'm waiting for before I get the EX30.

We go over it in our EX30 teardown video but I would give it a 6/10 if I had to rate it out of 10 based on our teardown.

I remember talking about the lack of SmartBMS in one of our takes but we do multiple takes and sometimes something we say can bypass the editing process but for all technical info, that will usually be saved for our tear downs because these reviews are meant to be easy to understand for every day riders. We'll try and be more details with those important specs for our future tear downs.

Only the s22 and v13 currently have smartbms with individual cell monitoring. No other wheels have it. The EX30 charge ports are not hot. First for a begode wheel

I love my rs but its a one trick pony and its finish is toy grade. Kingsongs need work to get it to perfect riding conditions, best in battery longevity though. Inmotion and veteran seem like a product ready for mass market appeal, just add pedals and perhaps pads if desired and done. Great vid guys. Looking forward to the veteran patton as my first heavy wheel!

Hey guy what wheel did you like more the EX30 or the Sherman S?
I still prefer the Sherman-S. Lukas still prefers the S22. But out of the two, Lukas says if he was just going for a ride, he would pick the EX30 but if he were to purchase one, it should be the Sherman-S because of the overall reliability of Veteran wheels and the reliability of being able to get parts years later.
S22 Pro
Ex30 for sure but it all depends on why and what you doing with your wheel . Fast mode on the Sherman s is kinda disappointing and to change out the shocks can take a min . Ex30 you get range performance and it's beyond fun to ride . But it all depends on what your preferences are. Can't go wrong with none of these wheels to be honest

Great video except the coffee test was unrealistic. Everyone I know puts a lid on their cups when riding trails. Seriously, I bought a TSG from yas and if I could’ve inspected it before buying I wouldn’t have. I hope you decide to sell better quality DOT helmets, I will buy one to replace my TSG if u do.
Haha yes, coffee test is meant to be a bit of a joke. TSG Pass is decent but we’re going to test various helmets and bring the community something better.
One standard ece22-06 "mips" like rotational protection tests was added on top of the old ece22-05 version afaik dot dont come close.
@@timwatterson8060 DOT is the standard for US and Canada and ECE is the standard for Europe. The testing is a little different but I was always under the impression DOT tests for 2 impacts in the same location and ECE only tests for one.
Firstly, the coffee test is very necessary. I personally like to ride trails with a full cup of hot, lidless coffee while wearing a clean lab coat. Anyone else?

Snell is your double hit at the same spot aka in a car with a roll cage aka not a euc. Ece22-06 is randomised hits at real life values with rotational protection aka sliding aka a euc crash. Fia has their racing standard which is $$$ but the best of all. Tsg, they do none of these.....
