The relative simplicity of these Apple productivity apps isn't such an issue when one understands how well they work together. They are a lot more capable than many people realise.

Great post . Love apple notes and reminders and calendar . I am interested where the term trident to describe them is from . I have never heard it used before .
My iPhone 13 isn’t getting that little pop up when you revisit a resource that exists in your notes 😞
That’s strange - maybe you need a software update?
Apple Note is great and well design, and I love it. But it's not universal. So it's difficult to bring Apple Note to my workplace which is using Windows and Microsoft/Google ecosystem. That's why other apps are better choice (onenote, keep, logseq, obsidian, etc...)
one thing i always hated about apple notes that did not allow me to be my primary tools is that once you edit a note, you don't see the creation date any more and shows only the time it was last updated
Tap on “Edited: Time”, you’ll see the “Created Time”
