Thanks for sharing! Can't believe this was commented on a 2 year old video, bu Comedy Central, and I happen to run across it within 2 days lol.
Why do all the robber masks look like Bert Kreischer?

Correct!
Poor Louie , what a dude for sharing such heartfelt story
Just stopping by to pay respects to a great comic that brought us many heart warming moments. Rest easy Louie, we'll always love you.

I agree, I love comedians you can relate too! He definitely draws you into his life. I will miss him.
@@Elchapo_69 🤡
God that part at the end where he dedicates it to his brother and you can hear him choke up. Brought a tear to my eye.
Yea, just dont be a little girl about it
His brother is dead then?
You can tell he loves his family. respect
I agree..
amazing
does anyone else remember the Louis Anderson cartoon growing up? One of my favorites...the exact same voices
Michael Jeffers yeah. it was on after Eek the Cat, followed by Bobby's World
yes!!!
Michael Jeffers Life with Louie!
i never knew he was a real person.
FUCK YEAH MAN! what a legendary cartoon! made my childhood!!
"I love my brother I miss him" felt that shit
Same...
My dad passed in May. He fought long and hard and nobody can say he didn't do enough, but-and maybe I'm just selfish- 35 years wasn't enough time together. So when I hear someone talk about a loved one who is gone, while I used to think "that's sweet", now I think... I don't have a word for it. But I understand it differently, and there's a certain beauty in the sadness.
@@KonElKent "Bittersweet"? Maybe too generic and not precise enough, but just a suggestion!
@@justsomeone5936 For fear of being melodramatic; I'm not sure any one word of the English language encompasses the feeling. I have memories that I would readily call "bittersweet", but that doesn't really cover the understanding I have for how others feel in a similar situation. But, I know that sooner or later we all come to have that understanding, maybe we don't see it as "beautiful", but we know that sadness. Whether it's a parent or sibling or close friend or mentor, there's that person that you're not just sorry they're gone, but you genuinely miss them.
The thing about Louie.. is that he’s authentic. The only comedian I know that can make me laugh and cry within the same story. You can feel his love and heartbreak ❤️🩹 in this dedication to his brother.
"I'm not your son." I am so surprised Louie's family actually hid their safecracker son, lied to the FBI about him, then, let their son escape to let him get away. Then, Louie has lived long enough to safely tell the world about him.
I would imagine there was no possibility of repercussions because his brother was likely caught not long after anyway.
@@switchbuckle5th his brother is dead
@@abdalhadifitouri131 his brother was also likely caught, he said he turned his life around and taught the cops, that pretty implies he got caught.
Spoiler alert!
That's family for ya. Some cops came for my uncle one night. I was at work and missed the whole thing, but my mother and older sister told me all about it. My uncle was staying with us and we had no idea he was in trouble. When the cops came, it was my 11 year old sister who answered the door, and on the spot lied for my uncle, "Nope, he's not here, haven't seen him.". (I was 18 and wouldn't have thought so quickly)
Our fool uncle got spooked and came bursting out of a bedroom, ran down the longest hall you've ever seen in a house, and tried to jump out the window. The cops ran through the house after him and caught him by the legs as he dived out a window. What was so funny is my little sister and toddler brother were right on the cops' heels, not wanting to miss the action. My older sister had already gone to bed when she said was awakened by someone running past her door. She got up, opened the door and was stunned when a cop ran past her, then another, then our little sister and baby brother. Our mom said it was so fast and surreal, that they'd caught my uncle before she had even gotten off the couch. Later, you could ask my baby brother where Uncle Steve was. He'd say, " Uncle Stebe in jail.".
i met him tonight in san francisco i was his lyft driver he is a great guy
Brandon Larsen no way that’s so awesome 😎 I’m on my way to San Francisco right now hopefully I see him hahaha sike
Lucky guy.
Met him in Minneapolis in the ninety's was his limo driver a few times. Just a great guy
@@dennismanley9891 Met him in Seattle in the eighties and was his private jet pilot a few times. Really great guy
Met him in the 60's, I was the conductor on his train, he was alright.
You can tell the authenticity of his story with the way he looks off reminiscing of that simpler time with his family, such a heartwarming act Louie is such a loveable person.
audience is probably 1/3 the age of his normal crowd and he absolutely kills. Just an all around amazing comic. RIP Louie.
I can listen to him imitate his father all day long.
My dad's like that...
He did all the time in the 90s
The cough!! hahahaha At some point, that's everyone's dad!
"Dad! There's Mormons here!"

The pain in his voice when he dedicated the show to his brother was heart-wrenching:(
I know...it hurts to miss your brother.
I loved the cartoon growing up and actually went to this taping not knowing he was on it. Hopefully we can finally get a release of life with Louie so his legacy can live on forever
a wee tear came out me eye as he choked up.
Big Nasty I was walking to my car listening to this tried hard not to cry in front of strangers
IM NOT CRYING YOUR CRYING
Same you could feel his words. Thank you for the captivating story friend
He’s such a lovely soul. The imitation of his dad and mom kill me. He embodies mid western hard working folk to a tee.
Fuk yah that shit was tough
Squeaky clean and absolutely captivating. Legendary Louie Anderson.
Diamond Cutter couldn't of said it any better
Diamond Cutter I love Louie! He's one of the few clean comedians that has me crying laughing without fail!
Here, here!
You can be clean and dirty, as long as you're real. Cutting the dirty is just trimming the fat
Squeaky clean? Well, there was the whole family aiding and abetting some felonies in there. But yeah, there were no swear words.
“Dad, there’s Mormons here.”
This is actually a great way to deal with the FBI: be excessively friendly
.
It's a great way to deal with people.
"there he is, Hitman Louie, you're gonna kill me, huh, Louie? Here I am!" LMFAO
This is literally the third time I've watched this one.
I wanna give Louie a big hug every time I hear it.

There is a cartoon "Life with Louie", it is about his childhood in the '70's, you should check it out.
RIP Louie, you're a legend.
RIP Louie.
Insanely funny comedian and highly respected by generations of other comedians which is the ultimate mark of quality.
What an incredible legend. This was a beautiful story. I was hooked in from beginning to end.
the fuck are you talking about dude , just because he sounds like a nice guy doesnt mean that was enjoyable you fucking idiot
hisham borgol
So Im an idiot for enjoying this?
Wow I remember even the cartoon he had hadnt heard of him in like I mean probably 20 years the Loui Anderson Show I think it was called nostalgia is kicking in, it would be in saturday mornings.
his uncle molested him for years...look up... still got the warm feels for that show.
I have that show from way back. First season was amazing because he physically did the opening. Second was good but I see why it was canceled. Plus he was the host for the family feud for a bit. He definitely disappeared from the limelight though. He delivered the flowers in ferris buelers day off and was the fast food guy in coming to america. He seemed to stick with his stand-up and keep himself simple. Truly a great heart but there is a deep sadness in there. So glad he worked with ari on this project.
"Hey look it's Hitman Louie" LMAO oh man this bit was funny yes Louie you still got it bro 👊.
“Here I am”
One of the finest story telling comedians there was and one of the nicest men there will ever be. RIP Louie Anderson.
Rest in peace to this wonderful guy who blessed this world with years of laughter for generations 💯🙏☝️☝️
Oh man, his voices... I'm having flashbacks of Life With Louie on Fox Kids.
Dude I thought this guy was dead. So happy he's still around. He needs to do stand up more.
Dallas Farmer you should look up Marc Masons Podcast. It's called WTF. He did an episode with Louie and it is absolutely wonderful.
Dallas Farmer dude watch baskets he plays galafinakis mother its hilarious
I thought it was John Candy at first.
Brad Miller candys been dead for a looooong time

Gone far too soon. I absolutely loved Life with Louie (still hunting for those), such a great childhood memory. Now you'll get to see your mom and hang out with Tommy again. Love you, Louie. Rest in peace. You'll be deeply missed.
Most of the episodes are on here just watched the Christmas one
The ending where he says how much he loves his brother and that he misses him and dedicates the show to him was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen a comedian do on stage! 👌 ❤️
I damn near lost it when he said "its good to the last drop"
this man deserves to be at least 100 times more famous than he is.
He's pretty famous... But you're right
Everyone knew Louie, though. Atleast from my generation on up.

If you have sense of human understanding you will see that story is true. Incredible tale. Lesson is: Family protects family at all costs, and laughing through the pain is the way to go.
I miss you Louie. You were part of my childhood, and then you became part of my adult life as well.
You'll always be appreciated!
Rest in peace Louie! He kept me laughing through the bad times!
RIP Louie, You're with your big brother again big guy
Yo, Louie's mom was a real one!!
NO ONE could tell a story like Louie Anderson. It didn't have to be off the wall or jokes for the sake of jokes. He just told really funny stories and peppered them with some wit and added emphasis where it's needed. Louie was one of a kind; and he'll be Missed. The world has less reasons to laugh now that he's gone.
Louie was one of the greats. May he rest in piece.
Rest In Peace to a comedy legend.

Somehow, his stories are hilarious, but always make me feel like crying by the end...
Yeah his stories are very impactful.

I always felt bad for him about his childhood. It was fun to hear his stories from his 10 year old point of view. But it always hurt my heart at some point to hear how things really weren’t great. I noticed he has no stories after he was 10. I wonder how bad it was that he can’t tell the stories past that point in his life.
He makes my heart ache for times I've never had 💚

He has the ability to bring characters to life in such a way, you’d swear they’re real. Like Christine Baskets, I watch her and I could so easily believe I’m witnessing a real person- no script, no camera. Heartbreakingly real and hilariously funny; those are two ingredients that, in my opinion, make a comedy legend.
