This few days we had help from stonemasons and they just brilliant !!!
Also we spent a day relaxing by the lake with friends

It was exciting watching them build your walls. They are doing a great job, it is like fitting a puzzle but more difficult. Lovely work. Guffie just loves the water, he is a sweetheart. Gierdre you great house plants love that humidity and heat! They look very healthy, great job. And Andrius, supplying your building team with great selection of rocks makes it much easier for them and faster for them to move ahead, good job!

I am with you on that .. I was standing and watching how they do it .. it's just amazing skill and so happy to be able to witness it .. and filmed as well .. will be nice to look back and see it again how it was built

First class In the world, there's a huge shortage of stone masons. Big shortage here in Ireland to those guys are awesome 👌

Guffy is like a beaver he just loves water you are right ;) when t is hot outside .. as when it's cold he wouldn't go in water ... he so sweet

Stonework is looking very nice. Your little dog just loves the water even if he is not the smoothest swimmer 😉
😊 thank you :) He can actually swim calm but he chooses not to !!! so crazy .. he just loves make bubbles and then try to eat and bark at them .. he just adorable to watch ;)
The water was warm enough for Guffy to swim. He is such a lovely water dog. G, your kitchen is now coming along quite quickly. How are your new neighbours adjusting? I will look forward to your next video. Take care.
That water in lake was a bit to cold for him so he didn't stay in it for long time ;) still not summer !!! Summer time he can swim longer :) It's just amazing to see how fast they building my kitchen .. can't wait for you to see what they done today on they second day ....

Definitely recommend it !! I also used them whilst was cleaning eucalyptus forest and they survived as well !!!!

Thanks for sharing another video with us. Looks like the masons gave u a small boost n motivated u even more. Did u catch anything in ur fishing trip? I never get over myself seeing how happy Guffy is in ur homestead and with u guys in nature. So nice to see his contentment! Your green house looks nice to look at with all the cultures u have inside, so do ur plots with cultures in them.

I think your puppy needs a ramp for the pool incase he gets in when you are not around
it's impossible to get in to pool and we won't do any ramps as then we could not see if he would get in on his own ... Only me or Andrius can put him in water tank and we supervise him while he happily swims there for minute

If i were 20 yrs younger, i'd help carry rocks to the tractor. But now? Phff! 🙄 it hurts my back just watching Andrius lift them, oww 😅. But in my 20s and 30s, i arrange & rearrange heavy furniture, push cars -- no problem. Yesterday, my ankles told me to sit down! So rebellious, these body parts. 🧐

Please don’t take this as personal or offensive. Why would you want to build a stone wall something like 200 years ago when the local people built that kind of walls or building because they didn’t have any other option. Good luck 🤞
Thank you for your question :) we always wanted to live in stone house and this was our dream from the beginning.. it is just something amazing to look at and plus it will be good heat isolation and if we got main house (barn) build from stone so we have to follow that and build from stone .. and every stones go a story to tell and I am happy to listen that when I will be cooking in my kitchen ... I could go on and on and on ... I definitely feeling very happy we chosen this way to build our kitchen and I hope I could express our reasons why we chosen to do it .. Giedre

A friendly observation , thick stone walls will store and hold lots of heat in summer and radiate that heat to your living space and in winter or in rainy seasons stone walls will absorb mosture from air and hold the moisture in the stones and make the living space damp . Wish you all the best.
@@adobo6905 Do you live in Central Portugal in a stone house? Other native residents as well as immigrants continue to testify that their stone houses keep their indoors cool in the brutal summers.
I believe you description re absorbing and radiating heat inwards is applicable to buildings made of concrete breeze blocks. This has certainly been my experience in the California and in the Philippines (humidity aside).
@@ruthconstantino6861 Scientific facts. All building materials store and transmit/transfer BTUs of heat at different rates and all porous materials absorb and store moisture (grains of water).
Maybe :) We are planning to have AC and keep log burner on during winter and autumn so I don't think we will have problem plus we are using lime which is good to use if you want your building to breath and we will have ventilation as well .. I believe we will be fine .. Well it will be better than living in caravan (which we do now) and we will be happy with it !!! Plus we will do big terrace so stone walls won't be on direct sun this should help a bit as well

With those stone masons 'G' will have her kitchen ready in no time. I bet it's a relief to have help with the building of the walls.
Did you ask those guy's about the walls of the house? Perhaps they can advise about taking down the wall that separates the house and kitchen.
