    Andy Timmons Band
    Filmed by John Coyle at The DIGF 05/06/2018 Released 04/28/2024
    The original video had a significant shake as a result of the separate bass speaker setup for this outdoor stage. I was able to remove enough of the shake using a new update to the VideoProc AI software program that I felt it could be released. I also was able to correct the sound level and color saturation in Vlogger. It is not perfect but many ATB fans will appreciate being able to see it.

    I've been fortunate enough to see Andy play multiple times, on video and live. And...he NEVER fails to amaze me with what he can do, what he can play. He both inspires me to keep playing, while simultaneously reminding me to quit, 'coz I ain't never catching up with this train! Have not seen this video until today - thanks John Coyle - and once again, I'm walking the plank...

    Thank you very much John Coyle! I first crossed path with Andy in the 90's, when he was actually playing Carpe Diem and Groove and Die at each appearance. It brings back fond memories! the 2024 DIGF takes place this week-end, unfortunately, the ATB is not performing this year....

    You are eternal great Andy! One of the best in entire world! A big hug to you from Coimbra, Portugal. i'm Lopes..., We had a nice exchange of emails when you did publish that "Princess" track... Remember that? It was an amazing guitar instrumental song you realize in that fatidic night for Diana, in Paris... I'm a fun of your music for ever Andy! Long life my friend.

    What I found interesting, is that Andy continues to use is 1998 AT100SB prototype till this day.... I own one of the original 175 produced in 1999;

    @John Coyle I can see you had to shoot against the sun, and this is always a big challenge for any type of camera!

    I love Andys playing and sounds, but why copying Eric Johnsons fast backwards walking steps. And I’ve seen other guitarists do it too. Why?? It doesn’t look good.

      Honestly, I don't think Andy "sounds" like Eric Johnson at all, and even if there maybe some coincidental artistry in their respective playing, I would say Andy does not try to emulate anything from Eric.

      @@p6x2 I agree. He doesn’t sound like Eric at all. I was only commenting about how he moves on stage. How he uses fast, small steps backwards when he plays some fast notes. Just like Eric. Weird stuff. But, everything else about Andys music, I’m totally into.
