Andy Timmons Band - Live Resolution (Recorded At The Granada Theatre, Dallas, TX 2006)
He plays with more heart and soul than anyone ive ever heard or seen.a true artist.
Check out Lari Basilio.
I agree!
@@brianmi40 she's awesome in her own right.....Andy was one of her influences. Andy is on a whole different level from ANYONE.
simply put yes
@@brianmi40 even lari is try to imitate Andy's playing style, there is no a better melodic guitarist in history that better than Andy. You can just ask Steve Vai or Paul Gilbert, and they will tell you the same answer as me
Just when you think you've mastered Deliver Us, you hear Andy play it. He's got barely any gain on and his notes are so crisp and clear. Just perfect separation. The guy is just an incredible guitar player man.
IMHO, Resolution is a Prog rock instrumental MASTERPIECE!
To my ear, Andy is the most melodic guitarist to ever touch the instrument. Undeniably, he makes the guitar SING in a way that transcends what the human voice can do. His tone is unbelievable. His PURE MUSICALITY is absolutely otherworldly.
insert mr Jack Tamarrat☺️🤘😁
No question, he is really damn good. But do you know Scott Henderson and Jeff Beck?
To me, the only guitarist who can surpass Andy is Guthrie Govan
@@princessah1920Jack and Andy are my two favorite! You’ll be pleased to know that Andy asked me at one of his shows who some of my other inspirations are and I said Jack. He immediately said “I fuckin love Jack!!” I basically did everything I could to not cry LOL
Fronting a live trio and not singing - huge task, no where to hide - you gotta make it happen on so many fronts.
Andy makes it look easy - killer player!!! Thanks for sharing this!
I still have my AT300. Andy has tone for days, one of my favorite guitar players.
If I had it, I would keep it forever.
I have both my AT100SB 1999 and my AT300 :-)
If you ever want to sell it, give me a shout haha
I'm just really finding this music, super dope.
Me as well !
Me too. Can’t believe what great quality the audio is. Great guitarist.
You know when you are listening to music in the background whilst working - and you just HAVE to stop what you're doing and immerse yourself in what you're hearing. That - when 'The Prayer and The Answer' go to about a minute in. Sublimely beautiful. Andy's playing reaching the part many other players can't reach. It touches spirit and soul (as well as making me both want to practice and practice - and not bother at all given the chasm between his ability and mine 😃).
Три чувака , три інструменти , а рубають як " ЗВІРІ " ! Молодці . Музон ,- ФІРМААА 👍👍👍🤝👌🍷🍾🍷🍾🇺🇦.
Guitar - Andy Timmons
with:
Bass - Mike Daane
Drums - Dan Wojciechowski
Similar to Eric Johnson. I saw EJ live just before the lockdown in a small theatre in Bloomington, Illinois. Very good, very good musicians and very LOUD.
One day several years ago, I went to the Mesa/Boogie website, and "Resolution" was playing and I was blown away. I found out it was a band I'd never heard of before, The Andy Timmons Band. I got all Andy's media, bought his tablature books and learned as much as I could of his songs on guitar. Andy's still my favorite guitarist, and really the only musician I follow.
Mike is a beast on bass!
Andy is truly one of those warrior among the guitar wolf pack ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
YES !!!!!!
I like myself are like alot of people we almost forgot about Andy one amazing guitar player
His guitar skills'playin speaks for itself
A cross between joe satriani and the soul of Gary Moore. Great stuff.
EXCELENTE , MAGNIFICO , TODO UN DERROCHE DE MAESTRIA , ,,ESTE CONCIERTO ES UNA OBRA DE ARTE ,,,,, FELICIDADES ANDY
He can get all the soul he Needs from satriani himself, he's got tons of it.
Satriani and Eric Johnson .
I was just just thinking Eric Johnson, too.
@@johnharvey5381 Feral Eric Johnson. I mean this as a big compliment.
Hello it's me Ronnie Earl and my friend Andy changed my life
....
Andy Timmons for president. For creativity and innovation and technical skill he is differently in the top five of Any real players list period. His resolution album is mind blowing. There are riffs on this song that have truly transforming guitar and guitar technique that would leave any real players jaw dropped. 1. Jimi Hendrix 2. Stevie Ray 3. Andy Timmons. Eddie V. There was only one Hendrix And on Andy Timmons.
Andy is an amazing guitar player!!! One of my influences!
There is no such a perfect tone in guitar world, but somehow Andy has one !!
I'm speechless
Marvelous Mr Timmons !!! Fantastic Trio !!!
Love the sound, each note is so clear sounding!!
Yes..that's the point..none of the notes is "too much"..it's the right note, in the right place, at the right time..
Andy Timmons would be one of Nashville's very best guitarist.... I love all of his work that he is a true guitars but he just blows me away when he does that country stuff
Andy is a genious
Hello it's me Ronnie Smith, and I just turned my uncle Bob and he agrees your music is the best
I have listened to this CD countless times. My favorite track tends to change over time. Hard rock guitarists may like Deliver Us the best. Bass players may love Ghost of you for the amazing bass intro. A few years ago, I probably would have said The Prayer/ The answer was my favorite.
But as of now, I've got to go with the title track. It is very emotional and puts my mind at ease. Everything is going to be OK.
- with Love from Canada
Tremendously talented musician, born and raised in Texas..... Love you Andy!!
Still so damn sexy🤩😍💗💖💘💝💜💙💚💛🧡❤️❣️👊💓😎💣👊🤘👍☝️🤙💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋 I 💘 you Andy Timmons
He's a soulman!!
Andy timmons is a excellent guitar player
I wish he will still play with Danger Danger band…their album entitled “Screw it” was phenomenal - with Andy Timmons as the lead guitarist
Andy is King.... Period!
а как же Gary Moore
Saw him play last night! Man what a masterclass!
Absolutely flawless.. utterly captivating and total talent personified
Super Andy!!!!
I was at this concert, and hundreds of other times he played live. I really miss going to Blue Cat Blues bar in Dallas EVERY wed minimum for hell I don't know 4 or 5 years or so....good times.... the shows he played with Pawn Kings were different but equally awesome, if you haven't heard the Pawn Kings music your missing out..... RIP TY😢
this is the best fucking electric guitar pieces
This is just so freakin' good!
Timmons is killing it!!!
Thank you for this
Andy is the guitarist for guitarists
Thanks for sharing
I love all of Andy, phrasing, tone, bendings, imagination, character, low profile, humble
Amazing!
The whole show is amazing and I’ve seen it many times back in the day… but his dynamics in “Gone”…. hits sooo deeeeeep. Amazing Mesa tone and feel… 🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks for upload this!
Awesome, really enjoy it every time I hear his playing.
Thanks Andy 😇
I find my self coming back to this more and more for creative inspiration. Really love that there is a sort of language or communication somehow expressed here thats more than just good music and great tone, put another way he makes it swing when he wants to, damn it! Thanks Andy.
Thx,Bruno rockn rolly👍🎶🌱😁🌞
ANGY TIMMONS ARE AN EXTRAODINARY GUITAR PLAYER AND I HAVE YOU AMONG THE 5 BEST IN THE WORLD KEEP IT UP MAESTRO GENIO DE GENIO
Super !!!!
Great musician! Absolutely beautiful!
Very good
This is one of my all-time favorite pieces of music.
WOW! Thanks!
This goes in extreme forms of guitar mastery and its performance of a pure guitarsoul
His melody is just goddamn dramatic in such a perfect way. I can’t stop watching
So underrated. He should have been given much more respect by the recording industry’s.
Maybe as a True Artist, He stayed True to Himself and didn't Sell Out to Whitey! Ha!
I agree, He is like The Best in all Styles/Feeling from a Guitar... and emotional content...Style of his very own.....
Great stuff, cheers mate.
Love Andy Timmons - been coming back to this show for continuing inspiration! Looking forward to picking up the Halo pedal
Man I saw him demoing it in pedal show, it sounds absolutely incredible. Does something ive never heard before
... in Andy Apple Red!
The concert was filmed at the Granada Theater Dallas in 2006!
I was there....seen him play hundreds of times. All were good, some were magic....
best thing: a video like this without announcement 😍
First time I've seen or heard of Andy Timmons. Amazing player. Andy has absolutely perfect control of his stretching and vibrato. Reminds me of Satriani very much.
Nice!
American guitarist Andy Timmons has appeared on stage with the Taylor Bay Band, Danger Danger, Pawn Kings, and Andy Timmons Band, among others (ATB). He has also released numerous solo albums and performed as a session guitarist. He released the first of his two CDs, That Was Then, This Is Now, and Resolution, on Favored Nations on May 2, 2006.
Awesomeness Bro 😎
The only other extremely technically skilled players I can think of that play with this much feel are Eric Johnson and Guthrie Govan. Those guys, just like Andy, are just... different. :)
Andy is beyond good, he is absolutely unbelievable. Kudos to his tight band too, those guys are monsters.
El Rey 🎸👑 del Tono……..
For a long time I didn't know who Andy Timmons was, but now I do and what a phenomenal player he is..All is Forgiven is an awesome masterpiece!
Entre tanto ótimos guitarristas considerados gênios, pode-se dizer esse é um deles.
His tone is superb
Esse maluco é um monstro!!!
Holy S*!t Why is this the first time I have ever heard or seen this! What a badass! The drummer and bass are holding that sh*t down! Haven't been inspired in a long time, thank you for putting this on here..✌
glad you like it....I've seen Andy play live hundreds of times, and he never ceases to amaze. if you get a chance see him live. cya
he uses the guitar to make music, music that gives us great emotions and feelings, congratulations on your talent!!!
something about his tone and skill inspires me as a guitarist like no one since Randy or George Lynch has dude is just on another level ... can't teach it ,either have it or you don't ...🎸 my compliments on this video amazing sound quality really enjoyed it ,new fan of ur channel bro👍

Do yourself a favor: go to 33:42 and rock the heck out!! OMG! Move On, that guy ROCKS!!
Rocks
@@GabrielRamos-ko2my It was @GizzButt who turned me on to Timmons! Another kick ass guitar player... czcams.com/video/m3NvhcjMhGI/video.html
When your soul cries out it's the best voice ya got!
Badass
A true Guitarist.
wow
Absolutely amazing guitarist of all time. Awesome concert indeed!
Thanks to the Ibanez 90th Anniversary I discovered to AT. I downloaded it from Ares
Best tone in the business
First time I watch this concer, I feel agree about that😝😝😝
I once saw a short clip with Eric Clapton saying that John Mayer is a master. I don't deny in any way John's qualities he is a great guitarist but he's not even close to this. Despite the styles being different this is in my estimation what a master sounds like, no boundaries, no real style and almost no form because you cannot contain real creativity in a box of "styles".
I disagree John just has a different outlook on song structure. Andy uses his guitar as a lead singer while John uses his voice. Doesn't make Andy any better at guitar. it just means John's songs will never sound like this. and that's simply the way he structures his songs. watching two of them just shred improv its pretty clear to see both are very close in skill when you see the difficult techniques they use. I believe John is incredibly underrated as a guitarist because it's clearly overshadowed by everything else he has going on.
@@ramenmusix1198 well, to me, I'd rather listen to Andy than John any day of the week. Not bashing John, he just doesn't do it for me.
10/10😁
At 3:26 that riff is Beautiful
I want to steal all your licks, Andy.... but I don't know where to start and there are so many of them. :))
Anyone know the Rig Rundown for this show? Would love to know what his multi-amp setup was.
I think he just uses a mesa lonestar with his usual pedals.
