Just bought my 2024 Nissan Sentra SV a few days ago and love it, mines the base model as well in a charcoal gray, didn’t realize when you hit the door handle button twice it unlocks all the doors, thanks!
They've had that for a while. I currently have a 2019 Sentra SR and it has the keyless entry with double tap to lock + unlock doors as well. I also just bought a 2024 Sentra SV /w Premium interior. Kept going back -and-forth between the SR Premium and SV Premium, settled with the SV because the two-tone brown and black interior looked better than the black-out on the SR. Will need to swap those halogen bulbs for LEDs though lol
My 2016 Altima SR unlocks all doors pressing door button twice.
Love the review! You are very detailed and love that you do reviews on vehicles that most people can afford! 😉
Will be getting this soon. Thank you for the review
I've been driving basically this exact trim for a couple months now. Tanks are averaging ~40 mpg, individual trips I see as high as 47 mpg according to the meter. Car is quiet, comfortable and gets me to where I need to go with no fuss. Stereo isn't completely terrible for the price. Overall it's probably the best Sentra we've had in 20 years. Just needs a performance model.
That’s insane fuel economy
@@703Speed It's mostly 60-70 mph highway
y'all kidding right

So love this review..I like that it is so much in details for someone like me who is newly deciding which car to by
By far the best comprehensive review of the Sentra features on CZcams. Thanks. I'd love to see a similar video on the base model (S)? Altho I think the Xtra 3K or whatever is worth it to upgrade. 👍
Thank you for reviewing cars under 25k! I liked & suscried!! Please review the 2024 Mirage if you can!
Best video ever !!! Keep thegood work!!
Haha thank you
keep up the good work and you will hit 100k pretty soon.
I hope so.. Thank you
Hey... thanks for a very informative video. Just bought one of these and caught a couple of items in your review that weren't covered by the dealer. Agree that for the msrp, this vehicle does a great job of covering all the essentials. Keep up these vids.. very helpful.
This is the best review of the Nissan Sentra I have seen and I have been looking high and low. Keep up the amazing work! I had no idea about the packages that the Nissan Sentra offered but now I do! Thanks for the little details!?
Thank you!
@@703Speed I have been looking at all the different models and trims. I'm currently deployed right now but when I get back I want to buy a fuel efficienc vehicle that's good looking and comfortable. The Sentra is now top of the list
Bought my 24 Sentra sv the same color but with the sv premium package and all weather package, LOVE it✨
Anything you don't like?
@@lowspeed2000 only downfalls I’ve noticed are that there’s no fog lights and that I’m gonna have to get a auto dimming mirror added on by my dealership since I didn’t do that when I bought it. Driving has been great and love the Bose sound system. Overall a great vehicle to me, I also may be biased though coming from a 2007 before this. But it was a fully loaded Buick suv so my standards weren’t necessarily low lol.
@@jeoffreymiller7945 that's what I have now a 2007 Sentra... The new Sentra feels a little cramped to me. I think they could've made the seat go back further.
@@lowspeed2000 yep! Even until 2019 I think it was too small of a car that I’d be able to handle driving. But now that it’s redesigned it’s actually so roomy! Even for me at 5’11”
Thanks for the great info
I love mine just got it today!
Good review of this car. I just got it, and although some of the features were on my 2020 Nissan Sentra, I am learning how to turn on the air/heat remotely. Have more videos on this function?
Enjoyed the vid :)
Thanks :)
I just bought this car same color and everything and I love it
I bought a 2023 SV last year in Aspen white. I like the new features but I don't really feel like I'm missing out on anything I want from this year. The new front isn't bad, but the older one looked better to me.
Here is where it counts, bang for the buck it's a classy ride. You get a lot of space and options. Keep up with the maintenance and don't drive like it's a race car and it will serve you well.
Definitely do the CVT fluid every 30K miles.
It's not a fast car, but if you need to go it will respond properly, especially in sports mode.
For a long highway ride, slap on Eco mode and it's great on gas.
For windy mountain roads, push the sports mode button and you clear the corners so well with the great handling this car has.
Set your expectations for comfort VS crazy driving. If comfort for the buck is higher than crazy driving then this is the car for you. It can go when needed, but it's a cruiser, not a bruiser.
That is an awesome color
I agree
Amazing review bro.
Thank you brotha!
@@703SpeedYou're welcome bro.
I got the 2024 SV with the All-Weather package and that extra 590 bucks gives you quite a big bang for your buck. And yes its a leather wrapped wheel with that package.
Merry Christmas. Peace bro.
Merry Christmas Michael.. I'm thankful for you sticking around and showing support
2023 looks way better and even bigger
This car has some great value. It’s a little on the small side. My guess is like the Civic and K4 it will get a little bigger next gen. Especially, when the Altima ends wonder if they could detune the 3 cylinder in the Rogue for this.
Change your transmission CTV fluid every 12-15k depending driving habits. Do this and this Vehicle will last 300,000 miles
Yup.. All about preventative maintenance
No American driver keeps their cars that long.
@@cgmiddleI had a TSX with 378,000 miles. Gave it to my BIL 6 months ago. It's currently over 400,000 miles. I currently drive a 06 HHR with 220,000 miles. Don't waste money on cars.
Have 2013 SR and despite around $1,000 I end spending every other year to pass inspection it’s been a really good car. I swore I’d never buy another Nissan but after seeing the new 2024 reviews I’m considering it. Btw it’s usually the suspension and wheels I need fixing. Calipers, rear springs, fuel pump. Engine has been flawless and CVT was replaced in 2015 under warranty.
I just purchased mines today, Rosewood Metallic. Very nice vehicle.
Hi there, would you mind telling me how much did it cost you, I am about to purchase but just want an idea and compare the price quoted to me
@@vidyakamath8298 You know I actually leased instead of purchased. But if the price was $22,000 if you get it fully loaded I think it was around $25,000. I did not know they had them fully loaded or I would have leased that one. Its a very nice vehicle, smooth ride, roomy, and it only cost $35 bucks to fill it up. Let me know how it goes for you.
@@vidyakamath8298I got it in $27k but I finance so costs 33k
I have this .
I honestly dont mind that its slow at all. I hate driving faster cars in even mild traffic conditions. Sure, you can train your feet to make sure your not doing anything to crazy in traffic with a faster car. But I like to minimize how much I have to think about things when driving so that my focus is on the road. With a slower car, this becomes much more easy since even if your putting a decent amount of pressure on the gas your still within the limits of "reasonable" speeds.
I guess what I'm really saying here is I like a built in limiter on my lead foot, that being the cars lack of immediate power.
I get it. That makes sense
great car for decent price.
Looking at the same model. For a basic A to B car on work days while leaving my smiles per gallon ( 14 MPG ) Toyota Sequoia on 3 inch lift with 35 inch tires. In regards to the Nissan CTV trans fluid once a year or every 15,000 miles. Do that I bet you this car will last 300,000 miles. for some reason Nissan CTV trans fluid breaks down much faster over Toyota and Honda. Ask any Nissan owner with a broke down CTV ask them how often did you service your Transmission fluid???? File thought if anyone buys me one brand new I make sure It will last 10 years or 300,000 miles
Agreed
Do you recommend the cvt transmission I heard they are super expensive to fix
Maintain it right and you should be okay
CVT are reliable nowadays
I never had an issue with my 2010 Sentra S , sold it with 100,000 miles and Is still running
Have a 2015 Rogue S with 120000 miles and no issues so far but I do transmission service every 35000 miles, it’s cheap and easy to do (OEM fluid)
Recently bought a 2024 Sentra SV , I’m loving it
@@reyperez3424thanks for this comment. Seems every nissan video is ppl complaining about the cvt.

One day, I buy new 2024 Nissan Sentra SV.
No Dear, you won't
fun fact: those cars are made in mexico
Old news and nothing new. My 2016 Altima was made in Mexico.
Even if it's new model of CVT it's still CVT 🙂 Shame that it isn't available with AWD. Greetings
Good point haha
wow display console is not integrated correctly very ugly for the price
Shitty car tires
I bought a brand new 2020 Sentra SV and had to replace all 4 tires at 23,000 miles. Piece of junk.
@@iah8331that actually sounds about right for tire life.
Too slow in my opinion.
Agreed.. Lol
I mean it's a family car not a race car, buy the Nissan Z if you want fast...
@@truckercowboyed2638 you make a good point
Nope. This has more then enough for its purpose. Who are you planning on racing, that npc soccer mom in the suv flooring it to the red light a hundred feet ahead?
@@Loudlevini always wonder about comments like this. They want GTR performance but don’t buy a GTR.
Cvt just nissan is crap
👍🏻👍🏻25% to goal is a very good start. Keep pushing. 🟦 Glad Nissan survived the dark years. They are actually decent cars and a fair value. This particular car could use a second power option. It's days may be ( R ) numbered anyway as the ice age comes to an end. With no hybrid available to stave off it's demise probably sooner than later. It had a good run.
I wouldn't be surprised to see the Santa be discontinued.. Hell, they're killing the Altima and the Maxima - this is probably next on the chopping block.. But, maybe not. Time will tell
