2016 Honda Civic EX | CVT Fluid Service | Transmission Fluid Service

Welcome back to the channel
In this weeks video I show you how to change out a CVT transmission fluid on this 2016 Honda Civic EX. This year is definitely a job that you can do at home to save yourself some money, but you definitely won't be saving yourself anytime as it takes quite a bit. The biggest chunk of time will be spent heating up the vehicle patiently waiting for it to reach operating temperature. What could happen if by mistake instead of 3.3 quarter i put whole 4.0. ?

Why didn't you fill from the fill plug? On the 2.0 you can put it in L and get to the fill plug just fine with a long funnel. Even easier on the 1.5t..

I don't know if you watch the whole video but if you did. At the 12 minute Mark or slightly earlier I start talking about the fill plug and show you how to remove it. I'm not sure what you're on about to be honest. The video is pretty clear.

​@@JimmysAutoClinicI'm talking about the fill plug on the top of the transmission. In the video you're filling it from the fluid check bolt.
