Suggestion, is the lamp tall enough to sit on the floor beside bed, it may need a few books underneath to help it reach. I have a floor lamp near my bed which frees up the side table for other stuff.

Have you ever tried radio apps like TuneIn? I listen to LBC London, all the BBC channels etc, via that app, on my mobile devices(I live in US). If you have access to those in UK, you should try them. Really no need for a radio.
Mark, I watch urban explorers and I think they went to the Chernobyl disaster place and stayed there three nights. It was really interesting. x
Mark and Nadia there is no shame going into a store and asking for help. I go in if I'm not sure about something and just ask and most shop assistants are very keen to help and when I've gone if they laugh at what ridiculous questions I've asked so be it at least you have learnt how to do what you wanted to do💗

I got into Desperately Seeking Susan a 15 when I was 11!! Went with friends and they were turned away so I got my dad to drive me there alone one night, after I told him I was meeting friends. On the way he said, ' you do realise I'm not going until I see you with your friends', I said 'Yeh that's fine'. Walked up to people in the queue (who looking back were probably about 25-30!!) and said, 'Can you wave at that man in the car please?' they did, and he drove away!! Where there is a will there's a way! He laughs about it now.
I went to see that'll be the day underage, grease and Saturday night fever. I thought it was ok for my kids to do it as long as I was ok with what they were going to see. My uncle turned his spare room into a proper cinema room you should do that.
Much prefer your ‘everyday’ look more than your tv look, sorry if that’s rude, not meant to be x
