I was born 1958 and now I'm 65 and I'm still in love with this lovely melody i sure had a happy dreamy childhood hearing all these music 🎵❤
am 75 and remember listening to Percy Faith at home as a child, and never tire of listening to it now, so relaxing and dreamy.
Best rendition ever. Even so, no matter who plays this song, it gives me goosebumps.

I'm with you on this. I was nine when the film came out, so didn't see it until years later. But the song? Yes, it was played all over the place. And it was so aggravating when I'd hear it on the car radio (AM) and it would either fade out or static would interfere. As you say, nice memories.
i love summer place great memories in a large family wher poverty still mad us stay together and happiest time of my life i am now 80 years old still it brought me many tears to listen to this song.

"Theme from a Summer Place" never gets old, and was written by Max Steiner who also wrote (among many compositions) "Tara's Theme" from "Gone with the Wind".
