5 years prior he was on a plane ride and came up with a business model that looked a lot like eXp

EXP is publicly traded. It has not yet turned a profit. In any quarter.
I own stock in Walmart. Does that make me an owner?
MBegneaud stock awards actually - you don’t have to purchase anything. If you are a top producer which I am guessing you are, you actually can get the 16k cap back in stock. A gift. What do you get where you are now? You should also look closer at the financials. If we are losing money how do we have no debt and close to 30 million in cash? 🤔 Our company shows a paper loss due to the stock awards we give our agents. It’s not a real loss. And if you own stock in Walmart you are a shareholder - which means you have ownership in Walmart. Don’t worry, this is the process everyone goes through. Ignorant to educated - to joining eXp.

I wouldn't say I liked it honestly, I was shocked with the unprofessional attire, but he inspired me overall with his speech.
So glad this dumb noob (lol) joined 14 months ago and now I have 40K in stock! Yep, 40K more than I would have had if I stayed at KW Plus my production this year ranked me in the top 3.2% of agents in my state. Best year ever.
