Why film on a Bicycle
Traditional video makers tend to walk, which unless great care is taken, produces a bounce in the video footage. I find filming on a motorbike can be too fast, not allowing you to take in the scenery. The bicycle allows me to interact with people whilst providing smooth footage. If you find it is still too fast, then you can slow the video speed down to half speed, which will still be 30 frames per second. Industry normal is 24/25 frames per second.
Why doesn’t the footage look clear
Sometimes I make an error when shooting the video (but very rarely) The most common cause is that your internet connection on YT has set the resolution to below 4K, so check your settings.
Camera Equipment
Since starting the channel I have used my trusty DJI Osmo Pocket 2 (Creator combo) I am now using the Pocket 3
The Combo comes with a Bluetooth microphone which has given great performance, even when riding at speed. I film at 4K & 60 frames per second, my light and ISO settings are on Auto. The Camera is strapped to my left wrist (so it might appear that I am close to things on the left). I control the Camera head via an application on my phone (Mimo), using my right hand Thumb.

Why do you say your videos are Uncensored
Back in April 2022 CZcams changed the Algorithm they use. They have very sophisticated computers that scan each & every video for words, images and music. Hearing the music when you pass a bar usually creates a Copywrite issue on the channel. A bigger issue is night filming in Pattaya. Really just about any bar scenes causes the video to be classed as Adult content. I have tried cutting my videos into small segments, and uploading them individually, these still were deemed as unsuitable for advertisers. So with this in mind, I do not monetize my videos, so you should not see any advertisements. I rely solely on my Members and those who subscribe to my other channel “David Strachan Living in Pattaya”

Great trip, so true about controlling the drinking though!! I always went out early afternoon and would slowly drink until 1/2 am. The amount adds up, had a great time and still do the same thing now!! You only live once!!!

My favourite road in pattaya and at the the end pratumntak beach perfect has lovely bars like the cobra bar vemon bar and saloon bar and has some really nice massage shops more upper class than soi boi,wy.

Back when I first came to Pattaya in the early 2000's LK Metro was the place to go to for day drinking and getting a daytime companion at Champagne. My how that little L street has changed.

Great vlog as usual I'm thinking about moving to Pattaya when I retire and definitely agree if you can't control your drinking you shouldn't move to Pattaya I never drink in the afternoon these days but drinking in the morning forget it you definitely have a problem they need to get help go to the AA on Skaw beach.

Good video when in pattaya I stay at Hill fresco on soi 5 ,lovely hotel and so reasonable. I only go into pattaya town centre now and then.I love the laid back lifestyle of pratumnak.

Pratumnak is a good area to stay, I was there in January , main haunt though was over in Nicks bars in Pattaya
Nice video David - I’ve booked the Sirin Exclusive for a few nights for my trip next month to see what Pratumnak is like for a long term stay as I’m taking a sabbatical next year. It looks like a good area for an expat to base themselves

Lol Dave I was only on 3 roads in Pratumnak..Soi 5, Pratumnak Rd and Thappraya Rd. Tukcom is a shadow of it's former self and not overly interesting for most. The best shop is the Donut place 🤣🤣

Plenty of life in the evenings but completely different vibe to Pattaya, for many that’s a positive thing .
I was recently searching for a condo to live in but couldn't find enough video on Pratamnak. I like the place I am likely gonna stay in Jomtien, but I still would like to have had more Pratumnak information. In my mind, it is kind of isolated b/n Pattaya & Jomtien but I'll bet it has more going on than I thought. My agent suggested it as a consideration. While I don't want to be jammed in the middle of the craziness of party-central areas of Pattaya, I also want easy access to both Pattaya & Jomtien areas of activity. I could never get my head around how far the beach front of Pratumnak is from those locations.
It really isn’t far. I walk Pratumnak to Jomtien every day along Dongtan and it’s a lovely walk. Only downside is the baht bus only runs along Theppraya Road so if you rely on that to get around then you would need to look at somewhere in Pratumnak nearer there like Axis condo. There are many around that top end
Pratumnak and Cosy Beach are both decent areas to live, but as Keef says, not serviced directly by the baht buses. Where I started my Benny Hill is where the baht buses pass. I guess it depends how often you think you will head into town. For me it's fairly rarely, and I have my bike when I need to. Hope you find something suitable. 🙏🙏

What happened to the onscreen street names? I was lost.
I said most of them when I turned into each Soi, although the ones behind tukcom I don't know the names. If I did a map it would be huge for this one. I started Pratumnak Soi 5, up the Soi Pratumnak, down Thappraya road, onto 3rd road. I then came out on South Pattaya Road opposite Tukcom, left into Soi Buakhao. The rest was just my normal Sois, LK metro, Soi Chaiyapoon and Soi Lengkee 🙏🙏
